Hi Guy and Gals
Welcome to the channel,My name is Loren, My house on wheels is a 2006 Ford cutaway chassy Ex Ambulance with a 6.0 diesel. that I converted to a tiny home on wheels,Did a 4X4 conversion, But best of all I converted it to run on waste vegetable oil! Now the biggest question I get asked is what is my background? As you can hear I have a thick Hungarian accent! Probably because that is where I was born and raised! Most of you guys know, What to expect from my channel, a mix of videos like Van Life, camping outdoors activities and lots of wrenching, along with some offroad and Overland adventures. The project that im most exited is Building out the Dodge Dakota and hoping by this fall to be able to continue transformation, just waiting on parts, I’m sure some of you know how that goes, the waiting time its just incredible..
Thank you for all the love..

  1. You're a good man for helping your friends. Invaluable to have a honest mechanic for those kind of projects that require an expert like you seem to be. Thankfully, mine is two doors down. Also, appreciate your paitence and calm demeanor.

  5. Hey Loren..what a pain when they give you the wrong parts ! When I bought my van in 2015 had some maintenance to do that required removing the radiator..so I decided to replace it and it started leaking by the time I got to Arizona. Long story short..I replaced it several times under warranty and within a year the new one would be leaking again. Finally took it to a good radiator shop a buddy recommended..it wasn't cheap but I'll never have to worry bout it again ! Along with the radiator I replaced the fan clutch even tho I'd replaced it before.. wasn't taking any chances..lol. Van runs cooler than it ever has.. climbing Mt passes it barely gets above where it runs normally 👍 Take care and keep warm my friend !

  7. Hi LoLe… I thought when a viscous fan coupler goes bad, it oozes out the oil and can't lock up???

Meaning it can't cool the engine since it's slipping too much…

That viscous coupler can lock up? Won't that make it overcool/ lose mpg because it's working full time?

  8. The truck runs so good now! It had been sitting for almost 6 months waiting for parts to do the injectors and within a week, the fan harness for the van broke. Now it's all back together and a dream to drive all over! Best part is that by now, almost every single part of that truck is new! And I mean almost everything! Full new axle, gears and front end when we did the 4×4. Rebuilt transfer case and transmission, new brakes, shocks, leafs and coils on all 4 corners. New rims, tires, bumpers. Newer low km engine with all new peripheral parts, including new oem injectors, glow plugs, all intercooler and radiator hoses. And a new fan and radiator!!! (And there are many more parts I'm forgetting). Laurentiu had a huge part into it as I'm more of a carpenter/designer than a mechanic, lol. Thanks brother, words don't even come close!!!
