The Warp and the Chaos Gods I 40k Lore

Thank you all for watching. This one took a little longer to make, but then again its about double the length of any of my other projects, and I hope that you all enjoy it.
This is a fairly comprehensive overview of the topic, where I explain what the warp actually is, and go into some detail regarding the demons who reside within it. After that we can learn about each of the gods themselves, before rounding out with a friendly inquisitorial warning.

  1. It is worth noting that daemons also overlap. For insurance Khorne is essentially the daemon that is most known for feeding from murder… So did khaine.
Same as how Drach'nyen is it originates and feeds on murder.

So location and who does it matters. Khorne may be massive in scanner and domain. But it seems illogical that they would share a meal so to speak.

Thus I think it's more likely that your emotions leave energy that they find and feed on. For Khorne this can happen through their deamons. So it's reach is wide.

Interesting to consider. Libre Chaotica goes into this well

  2. Ah yes, the girl that made it to the center of the labyrinth. It's a fantastic story. Of course dangling the hope that you too can out fox yours truly is precisely why such a story is permitted to persist. The seed of change is hope, that elusive carrot ever dangled on a string, swaying about, driving you to discover realities you would never have dared to come upon otherwise.

  3. Hey man love your work! I've been trying to find the Story you did with the Attenborough Voice about the Warp outbreak that happened on an Agri-World through a young girl who was bullied by her Boss and had a Psyker breakdown! What was the Planet called or where can I find the story?
I'm new to 40K and I loved that story but after you had to take it down I can't find it anywhere! Any chance of re-voicing it?

  4. So there is no point in capturing cultists or demons according to the inquisitor. Wasting everyone's time, by commenting separately on every warp god.
A concept I never understood, but should be quite clear in universe to some, is how is it that a realm without time or distance could have a history and separate entities. Also why nobody using the geller fields as a weapon against warp creatures and tears? Really just amass a fleet around a warpstorm and suffocate it with the denial of warp.

  6. My issue with these, is they suppose all striving leads to greater corruption. Where as in reality there is division between mere ambition and murder. Division between growth and regrowth, and rampant chaotic infection and degeneration. Division between mere hunger and satisfaction on different scales of time, and endless sadistic and masochistic pleasure that will never be truly satisfied. Division between competition of thought and new thought, and mere nihilist power games.

All this to say, the Grimdark is grim and dark. But it’s not nearly as compelling as it might be if it modeled the evil more subtly. But it doesn’t model good very well, so how could it? You need actual understanding of why something is meaningful to offer an extreme alternative that isn’t passé. And the last generation of artists drank materialists potion too hard to not think meaning is an artificial construct, and therefore totally subjective. Which is annoying, because it sacrifices meaning itself for nihilism. Nihilism ultimately advocates death if you stop being able to get it up, or the drugs run out. And gory points to others who haven’t realized how pointless it is yet. At best it offers stoic gaming of your pleasure centers over time.
