Turbo 2.5 straight-5 hybrid, Cyberpunk 2077 Challenger. Take out the backseat & replace it with a big ol battery pack that powers the front wheels, and have the I5 turbo power the back wheels & charge the battery. Now you got an fwd EV for the day, and a rwd baby V10 for the night. That’s where they could go. It’s not a huge v8, but it could still sound cool & meet emissions standards.
Keep in mind, the challanger has a long break well before its disconuation on 2023. Unlike more iconic vehicles that didnt have a long time as not being produced.
While the wealthy elites continue to jet-set in their private planes and revel in their luxurious mansions, the rest of us are urged to make sacrifices like transitioning to fully electric vehicles in order to combat climate change… Wake up people!
Incredible as it sounds, the iron block 392 Hemi in the Challenger Scat Pack was at its moment of launch, the naturally aspirated american V8 engine with the highest specific output EVER (75.78 hp/Liter) (funny how Dodge didn't advertise that) beating the Chevrolet LS1 (71.05 hp/L), the LS7 (72.14 hp/L) and narrowly beating the LT1 (74.19 hp/L) only beaten by the LT2 (79.83 hp/L) and outside of pushrods engines, of course the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 ever, the LT6 (121.81 hp/L)
But, the 392 Hemi still has the highest specific output of any american naturally aspirated V8 that can be paired with a manual transmission, so there's that.
Black Ghost stories are embellished to inflate the value of the car. After everything I have read there is no one out side the circle that has come forward to say they actually have seen or raced this car back in the day. It’s all family tales that were supposedly a death bed confession. If it was true why did the son sell the car. He dumped it before real research could be done on the stories. That’s why it didn’t break a million at Mecum. My opinion.
Loved the new Challenger in Nightcrawler
Stupidest thing they’ve ever done.
Killing off such a cool car. All for the “eco”
bruh while this doed piss me off that dodge is discontinuing the v8, we are losing the camaro too
It’s the electric cars fault.
Now all muscle cars turning woke all electric 🌈 im glad the mustang still have a v8
Yea the challenger is like drake 🌈 😂
Im convinced this is part of demasculinity we must rebel and bring back muscle cars for the average joe

This could've done without Jay Leno.

As a Detroit native I really appreciate you throwing Woodward in here. Best street racing scene to this day
Typical dodge. Too late to the party.
Jay leno punching it in his R/T with his eyes closed is amazing

The son who owns that car is a writer of sorts that made up that story. The entire Behind the seens of it is explained on Uncle Tony's channel

:((((((( I need some time to process this… Never got around to getting my own Challenger and it seems like I will never be able to 😢😢😢
I love hearing folk tales about legendary cars such as the black ghost lol
More like RIP dodge .
It’s crazy they are taking away our cars when they fly around in jets and burn so much coal making ev batteries.
I own 2 challengers, my '17 v6 daily and my garage baby 2023 widebody scat, they are hands down my favorite cars.
Bring back the Plymouth Baracuda 383 plain Jayne 3 speed .
Jay Leno!!!!!!!!
I love that Inglorious Bastards bit
And the mustang lives on.
The fact James never gets to drive these cars must be annoying. LMAO
can’t wait for the new gens to be treated like the old gens and the old gens to be treated like model t’s

This will be the end of Dodge.
