Cmon guys, this movie wasn’t THAT BAD.
If they did it accurately then it would have been great. His writings only starts to suck after he starts trying to bring in other mythologies into the world. So basically the greek and the Roman series were good the rest contradicted so much and just seemed like he was milking it for the money.

Lol. I promise you Alex, the book is a lot better than this mess. Everything makes a lot more sense and things are explained properly, unlike the movie.
Not gonna lie I would love to see a movie of Magnus Chase because I feel like it would be a sick movie if done right
Please PLEASE watch the show when it comes out! It's going to be so much better and I feel like it will make your short list off movies/TV shows that are actually really good!

the whole point of the books was yeah there were serious parts but all the ridiculous stuff were intentional to make it funny for KIDS. like percys mom marrying gabe. but this movie tried to take itself too seriously and targeted itself towards a much older audience and now everything that was included to be funny to middle schoolers now look like lazy writing to get the movie to go on
Every Percy Jackson fan felt so betrayed by the movies (myself included) it strayed so far from the source material – and so sad to see how much it disappointed Rick R. I’m so excited to see how the new show does it, I love the PJ universe so much I’m willing to give it more chances

Yea. You can clearly see how off the book they went…..everything within the book was absolutely….not this cringey…..😬…I cringed through the movie and I hadn’t even finished the books. Just know…in the Sea of Monsters….THEY TOOK THEIR OWN LIBERTIES AND MADE WWHATEVER THAT DUMPSTER FIRE WAS BECAUSE IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE!
Only good thing in the sequel: Percy has chemistry with Clarisse, which shouldn't happen because we are supposed to shipp him with Annabeth, not Clarisse.
