Nice Felix very nice , we’re so funny we loved the launch and still cheer the explosion, and now post flight we know why , a possible fuel issue and pressure or fuel supply failures, not sure yet on Starship , just lost contact again like the first one that had a burn through of power lines . What happen this time, , on to the next one!! In 2-3 months!!?.

  13. Nice coverage WAI team. Scott Manley done a good analytical video where he theorised that the problem with the booster was possibly fuel hammer or sloshing of fuel in the tanks causing engines to fail one after the other and destroy themselves. As for Starship, he also noted after he synced the telementry with the video feed that the LOX fuel gauge on the telemetry started to go down faster in correspondance with the 7 minute mark when we all saw what was presumed to be engine ploom at the time.

    I am sure in the days or weeks to come SpaceX may share if the FTS was activated on either booster or ship, but it kinda looks like the ship may have activated its FTS automatically when it sensed it was out of oxidiser and could no longer make its target trajectory. Rather than start reentry over Africa, safer to blow it up over the atlantic.

    Still awesome flight test, they didnt fail to deliver on the excitement guarantee. I saw some people live streaming from South Padre Island and the noise from the engines as it ascended was so great that you could barely hear them talking/shouting/screaming (with excitement) over the cavitation of sound waves in thier microphones.

  22. Before Starship shutdown, or exploded, I noticed that although it's speed continued to increase towards orbital speed, it's altitude was not increasing fast enough increasing very slowly by 1km every 10 or so seconds. And. the fuel levels were both decreasing rapidly.
    Was there an attitude problem with the ship which put it on a more horizontal angle?
