The Mass Effect games have a boatload of unique, rare and hidden dialogue that only becomes available if you make specific choices. To celebrate N7 Day, I decided to put together a list of my favorite secrets and rare dialogue from the Mass Effect Trilogy.

  1. Video idea for you. What are some different play styles to keep replaying the game fresh? For instance, my last playthrough I made the rule of no paragon or renegade options. This made dealing with companions harder and I got to see dialogue that I've never seen before.

  2. That moment with Kalisah is the same whether you've punched her or not. The only thing that's different is if you took the renegade interrupt instead, she wouldn't dodge the punch like she would if you did punch her in previous games.

  3. Have been replaying the trilogy for the millionth time and, even though I did everything almost perfectly, Mordin died in my ME2 because I brought Garrus to the final encounter with the Human Reaper.
I'd get sad, but I felt like it was an opportunity to get something new in the game, and I'm not disappointed. I really liked the Salarian who cured genophage instead of Mordin. Cool way to get some unique experiences haha

  4. These are rare, but there's one I've never found reference to anywhere and is extremely easy to miss, and I was sad I didn't see it here.

If you talk with Udina after meeting up with VS on the Citadel for the third time but before the coup, you can actually talk to Udina about making them a Spectre. You can actually weigh in on whether or not Kaiden or Ashley would make for good spectres (and I think Shepard's reasoning for them not makes a lot of sense.)

  5. There is another rare dialogue overlooked for Ashley. If you convince her to become less of a bigot, she’ll argue that the council should be saved, even if you bring Wrex along.

  6. 16:30 mmm i belive that their opinions change depending on who is the 2nd companion, and thats why it is weakest part of the game, like how Garrus is the "defender of humanity", if Liara or Kaidan is the other team member, and that reverses if the companion is Wrex or Ash, and in that case he will say "i hope you know what you are doing, HUMAN". Like you always need to have one in favor and one against, and that is very weak, i dont see the problem two supporting one view. In fact did you see the discussion when you have Liara and Garrus? Liara argument is so weak there that it almost sounds like she is in favor and will also react in a favorable way if player decides to sacrifice.

  7. "You're too rude to be an illusion." Lol that was so funny. I actually got a couple of these on my first play through because I had no idea what order to do anything in. They were interesting surprises.
