  2. I just completed Bramble, which was much more adult themed as I got deeper and deeper into it than I expected. I did enjoy it but definitely know what you are getting into and performance stutters do detract a bit at times.

  3. This may sound like a joke, but the Paw Patrol game looks great (for a paw patrol game).

I bought the first one released on switch, the side scrolling platforming, and it was so bad, bland and boring, that even my kid – who’s obsessed with paw patrol – gave up after a few minutes.

  4. I'll wait for a patch and a sale for Hogwarts Legacy. It's not worth 60 on this condition. The downgrade is ridiculous. It shouldn't even be on the switch if it's going to look this bad.

  5. When the Gollum game released a few months back, a lot of people thought that would be the worst game this year by far- the devs issued an apology post because the knew it fell massively short of what fans hoped for

So hats off to Skull Island for proving us wrong 😅 propa garbage

  6. I have to say, I'm with Glen on his take about metroidvanias. I tried to get into Hollow Knight, but the sheer freedom of exploration (along with the lack of any kind of hand holding and the punishing combat) overwhelmed me so much I completely stopped playing it. Ori, on the other hand (Ori and the Blind Forest at least, I have yet to play the sequel), has a more traditional metroidvania design in that you're never truly lost and when acquiring a new ability it's immediately clear where you can use it, and that game kept me coming back until the end (the emotional story helped as well, but the gameplay made it a lot easier, despite the game being still very hard at times). So while that game (9 Years of Shadows) looks extremely interesting (I was nearly sold at the magical girl transformation at the beginning! I'm a sucker for those), if it's more like Hollow Knight but without some of the ease of life features of Hollow Knight, that's just going to be a pass for me. But hey, that's fine, it should never be a goal for a game to please everyone!

  8. I was able to pick up 9 years a shadow in a humble bundle a month or so ago. I haven't gotten to playing it yet, and I didn't pick up the bundle for specifically 9 years but after watching this I'm real glad I did because apparently I make excellent accidental choices

  10. I bought Hogwarts Legacy on switch. It's really not that bad and I'm surprised they got it to work on switch. It's not a ps5 game,it's switch so it's not gonna look really great. But it's playable and runs great. If you play it on big screen then yeah it's goofy looking, small switch screen looks good. I love it. I don't have anything other than a switch and I wanted to play it so bad and again I love it. Graphics aren't everything but they are good enough.

  11. I am very annoyed, I pre-ordered Hogwarts Legacy from Amazon back in May. I checked my order on Monday Nov 13th, it said it would be delivered Wednesday Nov15th. The game didn't get shipped?? I checked my order after work on Wednesday and Amazon required a weird verification?? So, I completed that. Now my order appears to be on back order, it just says'Not Shipped'? I wait six months for this game, I see people already selling this game on EBay for outrageous prices, but I can't get my copy pre-ordered six months ago?? 😠😠😠😠
