  1. It's cause he has all these problems that he is an interesting character. Nothing is more boring for a show than a character that can do no wrong, is right all the time, and has little to no flaws. We can all name a thousand characters like these. Such a terrible person, but such a great character

  2. A-Train is a very good example of the "Corperate Sellout" in writing. His personality can be summed up into: "So long as it doesn't happen to me, it's not my problem…" and it can be Cathartic to watch all this bad stuff happen to him.

  3. While I definitely agree he’s still a scumbag I’m still really interested in seeing him and Hughie’s arc continue, whether it ends like the comics or a different turn like him fully turning against Homelander

  4. Man straight up got a teammate killed instead of siding with him against homelander just to get homelanders attention and even then hes still treated like shit and looked down on

  5. Ngl, i mostly agree with you, dude managed to kill the girlfriend he "loved", it when his brother's crippled he starts realizing what an asshole he is, and every other supe honestly. But thats the thing now, he learned. Enough to feel genuine remorse at his actions. With that, i genuinely believe that he can change, that he can actually take this shit seriously. And heck, maybe even be of use to the regular peeps, will i like him then, most likely nah, but I trust he'll get there

  6. Ashley calling A-Train out on his bullshit was one of the hypest moments in the series, and spoilers but when she gave him the Hawkguy's heart against his will just to fuck with him mentally I was so happy. Watching shitty people like A-train and the Deep get karma is so nice

  7. A Train's arc is being written in a way where they are drip feeding his development into a character who is the opposite of what he started as, i can tell he will eventually redeem or atone for everything he has done unlike others. I thought it was obvious what they were doing with him but people just take his actions at face value instead of looking at how every scenario/event is slowly changing his perception which is far more realistic than if he had just switched sides when he was helping with stormfront or any other similar moments

  8. A-Train is changing, i never will agree to "liking" the character but i can recognize growth and change, he apologized not just cause his bother got hurt, but because of that one mistake he's lost his girlfriend, his brother's trust, and his way, he at least could pretend, before meeting Hughie, that he was a good guy doing shitty things on the side, for the greater good, after Hughie comes into his life, even pretending isn't possible
