Congrats Lainey she is very talented, humble, and she is a leader. She is one a few singers that is showing that you don’t have to look down on or step over others (male and female) to get to the top! Her blessings has nothing to do with his and visa versa!
It would seem to me that he didn’t win because more people voted for her over all of the other nominees (including in the other four categories she won)… Which probably includes some of the voters displaying fake public outrage!
How did he not win Entertainer of the Year? He's been selling out stadiums weekly this year. Do you really think Lainey Wilson could do that? CMA has no credibility.
Of course he deserved to win….Morgan Wallen has fire in his heart for the music. He has fell on some rough times but how he gets those songs out is incredible. That's deep in soul n not alot of ppl can say that. He doesn't need anything but his guitar and to be himself. Dude I really appreciate you taking the time to share your amazing music with me and my family.
The CMAs and the ACMs are a JOKE! All these award shows are a JOKE! If 'One Thing At A Time' didn't do enough to win album of the year, then no album ever has or will do enough. Not since 'Fearless' has a county album been so impactful. And Lainey Wilson winning Entertainer of the Year is laughable. Last time I checked, Morgan is the ONLY artist that's been out there touring for the past couple of years and selling out multiple nights at NFL arenas. No other country artist is anywhere close to drawing those crowds. Lainey Wilson couldn't get close to selling out an arena for even one night. Touring success is what EOTY should be based upon.
Morgan Wallen deserves more. He has so many songs that are fire. He is a damn good lyricist. Everyone makes mistakes. Stay strong Morgan!! Your voice,talent and fans got you this far. Can't wait to see how much further you'll go!!!
She's not well-known. Mr. Luke Combs Should have won you guys know it. Second of all. Individuals need to stop supporting racist people because Minorities support the country music community. We want the same. Not to mention she didn't even say thank you to the fans More like the Industry Paid for a trophy.🇺🇲🩵👍💯
Yep Miranda and Carrie never won this on the CMA’s. This was Morgan’s award!! I like Laney and her few hit songs, but come on. I’ll watch a few performances of singers but I won’t watch the CMA’s and help their ratings!!!

Morgan played it off cool. But you could see the disappointment and irritation in his face when Lainey was announced as the so-called EOTY.

Saw Lainey live and she is a great entertainer. She is authentic. That’s why she won.
