When the seasoned battleship was destroyed by a surprise Japanese attack in Pearl Harbor, over a thousand men aboard the ship lost their lives. Almost half of the total casualties from Pearl Harbor occurred on the Arizona alone. Few at that time understood how such a terrible tragedy could happen.

  2. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor from 1975-1976. I was stationed at CINCPACFLT MAKALAPA. Directly at the CINCPAC Boat Pool. Let me tell you something. If you go to see the USS Arizona memorial, don't go alone. Standing there, reading the names of the men entombed down there, you can hear them. " That's me, that's me.."

  3. 1941 the American government was warned of possible Japanese attack= not taken seriously.
December 7,1941 Pearl Harbor is attacked.
1997-2000 the American government is warned time and time again that Muzlim extremists were going to attack not taken seriously= SEPTEMBER 11,2001 more ppl were killed in the World Trade Center, pentagon and Pa Field than the casualties @ Pearl Harbor 60 years before.
THOSE WHO DO NOT LEARN HISTORY ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT.

  4. My grandpa was in WWII and just based on what he told me, not including all of the research I've done on my own, and other documentaries I've watched, there are several errors in this information and I'm only about 20 minutes in, and I'm not sure I want to watch any further for fear of being given even more incorrect information!! Not happy!!
