I'm actually ass at drafting prerelease because I'm not nearly as good at cars evaluation in that situation vs cube so thanks for explaining the picks
Let's gooooooo
Why is basic land in draft?
Wow, good to know how well the treasure deck seems to work, it's cieling is high!
I really enjoyed the pivot in this draft…looks like a much better deck than the Red/Black frame.
Also, seems to confirm to me that the "If you've Descended this turn" seems a bit more consistent than Descend 4, and especially Descend 8. At least aggressively….the slower mill-based draft I saw felt really…flat.
Your dastardly deluge of Cube Content has ruined me for other limited formats 😂
Question: would a role token trigger descend?
Is Anim Pakal only a rare? I'm already annoyed by how much it steals the game if it's unchecked.
Go.
Vintage and mtgo better!!! 💪🏽
Great video as always. It’s interesting to see you try to figure out a new format. I was wondering, what is your favorite time to draft a new format? Is it in the beginning when you don’t know how it plays, or more when you’re familiar with all the cards and how they play?
Let the games begin 🎉
I don't give you the thumbs up in every video cause I like you… I give it to you cause I learn… But I also like you 😉
Ooof, hard to watch Arena after so many years of playing and watching MTGO content.
Sucks for LSV to go another draft without opening power
Im getting Zendikar vibes 😁
Opponents were playing only rares I see
I'm calling it for Captain Storm being the mythic uncommon. Any of the first 3 games it would have dominated
Well I came for the cube but ok
44:26 HAHA the whip! I died laughing!!
Play 6 games without drawing your pack 1 pick 1 a single time. Classic Arena.
just got back from my prerelease. Had a just very solid g/r dino deck. Inti was my only bomb. went 3-0. Of all my cards the one that surprised me the most was that 3/1 haste gnome. That card did work. Got some hits in himself, traded very well when equipped, giving my big dino's haste later and being an artifact to craft with.
I know your vintage cube videos are popular, but MTG arena is so much easier to watch for me! Love this vid
Love the daily vintage cube videos but I'm hoping the format turns out good enough so we get more draft content whether it's on Arena or MTGO.
Heard lots of players attempt "Dinotomaton" so far and I think WotC tried to get a bit too cute with the name, haha. But it's a dinosaur automaton, so "dine-uh-tom-uh-tahn".
I have to admit, I am pretty low on this set for a few reasons but it looked really fun to draft. I am looking forward to a few more videos of this set.
I'm surprised that LSV didn't just do what the first person did and draft "Mono Rares" 😅❤
Ah, a truly classic case of putting together a cool, synergistic deck with a streamlined game plan out of commons and uncommons aaand then just getting absolutely bodied by a bunch of busted rares.
The deck was really sweet though; just wish we'd gotten to see some more of it.
I did not expect you to end up with 10 treasures in your mono red deck. Wild stuff, awesome as always.
Really underwhelmed by Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, I can't recall a single game it had any impact…
Engagement
32:30 legalize megrim in modern!
I love your arena drafts so much. Please don’t stop doing them a few days after set release!
Did he never draw Inti in any of those games? Shame, that card is pretty insane.
Sunshot Militia with those treasures is insane
