Someone may have commented above. They look like Red Healer to me. We have a Blue Healer that lover everyone but it up to you to socialize them. They will attach themselves to one person or a family. Take them everywhere and let them get petted and loved by everyone.

Where are you guys located? I'm not seeing an about section on your channel. Not that I can take on any more pets (3 large dogs and two cats and I have cancer) but when I share, it'd be nice to know where you are located.

That's how I ended up with my big cat boy: someone threw him from a moving car late Nov 21. Two girls saw him and took him to the vet, and then I saw him on FB shared by a friend of mine. I'd just lost my boy, so I wasn't ready (I thought), but it soon became apparent we were perfect for each other: I have CFS/ME and am house-bound in an apartment (hence no longer being able to have dogs) and he needed to be a one-cat household, indoor-only cat (he tested positive for FIV). He was 5 kilos when I got him but all head, just neutered, poor bubs, terrified and scratchy but underneath you could see the lovely lad. 2 years on, he is 8 1/2 kilos (not even fat!) and has completely lost all of his trauma responses and is a snuggle cat. To this day I am so grateful my friend shared his story. Shares help!

Re Marty we got a puppy several years ago that was worse than Marty. Find a way to replace the behaviour! Marty is far enough along now to do this! For our pup we replaced the behaviour with play! Dogs play when all is well in their world so playing with him will not only replace the behaviour but communicate to him that it is ok he doesn't need to be scared! Start in the kennel where he feels safe and find something he thinks is a game with you get him used to it then move to using it on walks. Initially you may have to start the new behavior the moment you take him out of the kennel. I have seen it work in several dogs like this over the years. People now will not believe that our dog was once worse than Marty! Remember to take it slow don't push to hard or too fast. I will be praying for him!
