A side of melancholy with my breakfast. You did the horror when the spores appeared and his isolation at the end very well. Still miss the outro. I'm glad you are doing some shorter ones again. I seldom have time for the long book length creepy pastas. I'll probably listen to the long one you just did on my next trip to Seattle and back, though. That should get me through part 3 anyway.
The protagonist, yes being a scientist turned out to be non rational. Just a huge selfish prick. Did he not realize that Whatever he was inoculated with. That inoculuation could defeat whatever is on Mars. Meaning terriforming is very much possible. Sure he wouldn't have to see it. So as a selfish activity destroys all the work. So nobody can benefit from it. Typical millennial think.

/any Mars habitat SHOULD be a minimum of a B.S.L.4, decontamination pod, room or whatsoever..that ANYone coming in from the open Mars surface would HAVE to pass through before having access ti any of the interior modules. A room that would decontaminate any & all suit surfaces, then the suits are removed & then personal decontamination would be carried out, and THEN theyd Don their Mars "track suits" and finally be able to access the habs interior.
