Have more and different world buffs, expand the system. Have choices among world buffs for each role, some which expand capabilities, others which are simple buffs. Don't just send everyone to the same couple places, have them scattered everywhere, varying levels of time commitments, and enough options to keep it from settling and entrenching into a basic meta.
So you feel that Bliz should do what Turtle WoW has already done without charging anyone to play? If it's free to play and absolutely no pay to win, like TWoW, I might give it a chance and try it. Otherwise, suck it Bliz.
Blizz need to hire asmon, pay him like a mill and have him lead classic plus development
Disagree with your suggestion hitting 60 in classic is fractional, it takes a tonne of inside knowledge – I bet you'd even struggle at times.
I hope they do all changes in the spirit of Classic. So for example if they need to buff paladins and priests against warlocks, allow paladins and priests pray in Church on Sunday for a shadow resistance buff. Or allow Shamans to start natural hazard like earthquake that causes random knockbacks in open world and instances, then druids can start their quest to fight back before it's safe to raid again. Maybe warlock can start their quest to become powerful raid bosses, with the cost of permadeath. These ideas may sound random, but that's what Classic is. It's not a streamlined game where hybrid classes can do equal DPS than pure DPS classes. And races don't need to be equal; pick bad race if you want challenge. Shamans should have increased healing during rainy day and Moonfire and Starfire should be more powerful in night time. Maybe Moonkins are good if you raid during night time etc, and ret paladin is good against bosses that wipe your guild often (Vengeance!)
Classic Plus is going to be mobile math game for kids. Learn counting with the Azeroth heroes.
I actually think Hardcore has a big player base and it's rivalling normal servers.
Homie just asked for everything guild wars 2 alrdy does
i don't see the point in resetting the game
Retail is beyond the point of fixing. There is no way for any new people to start playing and be anywhere near the level of an average player who has been playing the whole time.
warriors can charge + auto attack at same distances, remove leeway.. 😀
For all meme specs, they need some form of mana regen and debuff limits need to be removed. Mana Regen could be just baked into other abilities or existing talents. For Prot and Ret paladin, they need to scale spell power based on strength or attack power like in WotLK, also bakeable into existing talents. In addition, Prot Pally needs a Taunt, and Ret needs a button that does damage. These changes would be a massive improvement to PvE class balance. If we care about faction balance, Dwarf Shaman and Tauren or Forsaken Paladin would be cool (Forsaken in particular would be awesome lore, their faith so unbreakable that they will endure the pain of wielding the light even in undeath).
world buffs are good agreed
Retail is a great game for serious gamers. If your a casual then vanilla is a great game. I personally think that is a good thing to have two games who cater to different audiences. trying to combine both audiences into one game is setting yourself up for failure. Its hard to please both sides.
2024 20th year anniversary CLASSIC + ANNOUNCEMENT 💯
"This video game can vote" lmfao😂😂😂
No classic+ , enjoy another season of sweat and cata hahahahaha
I will always advocate for addons in some form or another (specifically stuff like UI/font resizing, Vuhdo, etc). It makes the game more accessible for gamers with visual impairments (like myself).
nO oNe CaReS aBoUt ReTaIl lmao streamers dont care about retail because in order to make content you need something like classic and harcore.
I agree with most of the things you said. I do however disagree with removing penalties for death in game. I don't enjoy the penalties. I think they suck. I think not having to run back in a raid setting or dungeon setting after a wipe makes sense. I agree there. But part of why retail wow lost its spark and the community is that the RPG elements were slowly removed from the game. One of those RPG elements is when you die. There is a punishment so you want to avoid it. I don't think it's a slippery slope situation or anything, but I do think that having to pay repair costs, replace potions run back if you're out in the world, etc. Gives you incentive to avoid dying whenever possible. Not all things that make the game better as a whole are necessarily fun. It's not fun to run halfway across the world to get to the next zone you want to go to. But it does add immersion and it's more fun than just appearing there. Etc
