Lol. Owning cats you get ignored part of the time too. Cats are cute but attention is on their terms. Luckily my cat loves cuddles. Even so there are times she ignores me for hours.
Random cats just keep wondering around my house and meowing at my window. I guess i must smell like tuna. I love having tuna for dinner.
I was once in a cat Cafe. The first one was fine but the cats in the second one did not care about your entire existence until you have treats and even then they likely turn away from you. (But at least the service was nice like every maid despite my bad japanese)

There's a cat café in my city. I went there and while some cats were more on the shy, aloof side, there were still 3 or 4 cats that likes getting petted 💖 Sadly I got really sick that day and had to leave early 😢
Might be a bad idea…but what about rubbing catnip on yourself prior to going/entering the establishment? (I don't own a cat, am dog person)
I have a feeling cat Cafe's absolutely stink!!! I'm sorry, but I am not going to go drink coffee at a place where the animals sit on the tables, more than likely were they pee everywhere, and or have their litter box not cleaned enough!!! No thanks if I wanted to get an infection I'd make an incision on my foot and walk in a pond!
You have no idea how to treat cats. You have to look at them and then look away. This way you tell them you're friend and they will come to you if the feel like it, but since there are many cats in cat cafe you have pretty high chance one will. Cats are and like tsunderes.
