What upcoming Indie Game are you most excited about?
There are a lot of upcoming games I'm interested in but rather than list a dozen or more, I'll prune it down to three (or eight): Nine Sols, Back to the Dawn, and Tale of Ronin. I'm also with you on Songs of Silence. Four more honorable mentions goes to Far Fetched, Earthless, Norland, and Ratopia.
I agree, Constance is probably the one I'm looking forward to the most as well! Brilliant video bro~
I already had Being and Becoming, Altered Alma, Ultros, and Mariachi Legends on my wish-list since who knows when. The other four games don't appeal to me at all.
That's the problem with Indies: More than half of them are some kind of Metroidvania and those get stale at some point – no matter how good they are. At some point, there are either limits to innovation or diminishing returns. It's also hard to consider games like Hollow Knigt or Eiyuden Chronicles Indies at this point. Especially Eiyuden Chronicles is made by people who were part of the Triple A space. Eiyuden Chronicles simply isn't an Indie.
