I'm not exactly a fan of Galarian Moltres's design, but I have to be fair here, he does seem like an upgrade compared to the OG version.
Not exactly difficult to improve on OG Moltres's design though, dude looks like a rubber chicken on fire :v

Farfetch'd went from being one of my least favorite Pokemon to getting a massive glow-up in Gen 8 and has grown to become one of my favorites; both it's pre-evolved form and Sir Fetch'd.
#9 is apparently called the Crowned forme for some reason.
Solid list Ed I like all the Pokémon you mentioned on them but I don’t know if they’ll make it to my top 10 list since I didn’t make it yet lol
My favorite Gen 8 mon is without a doubt Obstagoon, first off it took a Pokemon in Linoone that I just didnt care about and gave it a much needed evolution and an awesome looking one at that, then they gave it a great signature move in obstruct and I loved running Guts Raticate up until Gen 7 in competitive just for the lols, and obstagoon is just straight up an upgrade with much better stats and a better typing, giving it knock off STAB.

My top 10's are always dumb – but
1. Indeedee (F)
– Ended up being the best mon on my team. Due to the less-then-Steller AI of SnS I would end up getting +6 +6 in special attack and Defense and just sweeping. I have a hard time believing this is a stand alone mon and not related to Audino ( another pun-themed healer ) at all.
2. Toxtricity
– I'm 100% sure this was meant to be a legendary pokemon with more to the story then what we got. Between scrapped content and the image on the hill – there was a lot this mon got robbed of.
3. Corviknight
– Iron Defense + Body Press , Cool Raven, Edgy – Cool ability. Best rout 1 birb imo.
4. Eturnatus
– "BuT iT dOeS nOt FeEl LiKe A pOkEmOn" That is LITERALLY the whole point of the giant skelly dragon that came [ From Space] and has a lot of parallels to Kyurem.
5. Galarian Corsola
– Stall incarnate
6. Hisuian Arkanine
– BOY DO I HATE ITS TYPE . . but I love me a big good boi
7. Polteagiest
– [ ITS SHELL SMASH TIME ]
8. Barraskewda
– [ NOISTORM INTENSAFIES ]
9. Thievul
– 100% needs a buff and for SOMEONE to re-think about how stats and move pools work. Poor guy's a SPECAIL ATTACKER and learns ONE special attack in it's level up pool. Cool , down to earth design with a lot of symbolism.
10. Zamazenta
– I'm an underdog fan. Though I'm also extremely jaded that Zacian got like. . everything. Move pool, stat distribution, the better DEFENSIVE type for an OFFENSIVE mon – hell they even robbed Zama of BODY PRESS . . like. . the one move it SHOULD GET as defensive fighting type. Well hopefully in the future Game freak addresses this – not that they care about balance in their games. Though lore wise I suppose it makes some sense given Zacian is Romulus and Zamazenta is Remus in which case the former kills the later. :
But yeah thems my thoughts. Gen 8 was pretty weak design wise with a few bangers here and there. Design wise you can kinda tell this game was ripped from a totally different direction at the last moment. Between the scrapped content and the leaked beta stuff it feels like they lost out on telling a bigger story .

5:34 Nah, dude, I can totally relate, I've been playing since Red, Blue and Yellow. Sword and Shield is the first time ever that I wanted to ditch my starter. And I most likely will again if I do another run in Sword and Shield. And Corviknight is definitely cooler then all of the Sword and Shield starters combined. Not that its' exactly a high bar, but still.
For me- Grimsnarl, Appletun, Dragapult, Toxtricity (FINALLY POISON ELECTRIC!) and PERRSERKER!!!!!
I do not like Dragapult at all it’s too gremlin esque.
I like both doggos they’re fun but I’d put Zamazenta above Zacian.
Basculegion made me interested in picking up that darn fish, so yeah.
The Galarian legendary birds are the embodiment of the “Daniel, the cooler Daniel” meme, they are all are improvements.
Centiskorch not a fave. Grimmsnarl is awesome. Corviknight is cool, but not my favorite aha. Thus concludes my thoughts

9) Mr. Rime, no further elaboration
8) Yamper. He is the goodest boi and so cute!
7) Galarian Corsola: made me interested in Corsola. It’s backstory is sad and tragic while being useful in competitive
6) Zamazenta: Shogunate Dog is awesome, what can I say? No attachment to Dark Souls tbh
5) Galarian Cofagrigus, it really pulled through on a number of occasions plus it’s design is cool
4) Grimmsnarl, awesome Pokémon all around
3) Indeedee, it’s a very useful tech Pokemon and I like the designs, super appealing in my opinion
2) Galarian Articuno: LASER EYES
1) Hatterene: just a wonderfully designed Pokémon with suspicious energy, has been wonderful on a Trick Room team of mine. Design is awesome too
The YouTuber GinjaNinjaOwO made a redesign of Dragapult to make it look much more organic. Replacing the hole for the misiles with curves horns. It looks fantastic and made one of my favorite mons even better!
Coriknight is my favorite bird and Sir Far Fetched is my favorite fighting Pokemon =) I was not a fan of Sword/Shield starters either.
Well galarian slowking would at least been at number ten along with inteleonand obstagoon and I just love how galarian forms bring out the dark aspect of good pokemon
The most fun thing about Dragapult in my opinion is it's Shield Pokedex entry:
Apparently the Dreepy inside Dragapult’s horns eagerly look forward to being launched out at Mach speeds.
