I always thought Monster was a solid gut bunch series.
I love this rimworld series, you've finished your first in game year and learned a lot, and yet there's still so much you haven't encountered or touched on.
The most amusing part of this episode was probably the mad scramble to save sassafras, when you told John to shoot the fox you overwrote his move order so he sat in his house waiting for it to enter his line of sight, but if you shift click you could've qued it so he'd move then target the fox.
Don't know if your chat clued you in but there is a switch to auto repair anything inside the home zone. Looks like a little hammer on the second to bottom row of switches.
Also people really hate having workbenches in their bedrooms.
Hey Cap! I would suggest a newer anime called Farming Life in Another World. It really just gives me rimworld vibes but it has also quickly become one of my favorites!

Overlord has 4 seasons now Shack, all on Crunchyroll (at least in the UK) as to other fantasy or Isekai anime I can give the following recommendations:
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Fantasy)
Goblin Slayer (Fantasy), season 2 has just started airing
Knight's & Magic (Isekai/Fantasy/Mecha)
The Great Cleric (Isekai/Fantasy)
The Misfit of Demon King Academy (Fantasy)
Skeleton Knight in Another World (Isekai/Fantasy)
BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defence (Technically just a Sci-Fi one as it follows the players of a VRMMO)
Though as I am in the UK and watching on Crunchyroll not sure how many of these you'll have access to.
Captain, for a fantasy anime I would highly suggest Record of the Lodoss War OVA. It's an older one, but was heavily inspired by D&D and done very well.
you should put a grow spot in the far fertile areas but just set up a storehouse close by so your colonists don’t have to haul back and forth very far!

nice job getting though the winter my first winter the hunter got hunted by a bear and everyone else starved to death because the bear camped out side the door
You could create a stockpile zone for rock chunks and collect the chunks near the village so you don't have to mine for a while, best part is it can be outdoors. Really enjoying the playthrough it's been interesting.

All you had to do is repair the generator while Tabby was hitting it, if it doesn't break fast enough they get bored and move onto something else
I am not a big fan of Anime, but I have a suggestion for you (if you see the message).
It is called "Saints Magic is Omnipotent" or something very close too it. I quite enjoyed it.

Huh, you got lucky with John accidentally baiting that imp and making them whiff their fire breath. I mean, it was just one guy against 5 of you so you would've won anyway but the consequences could be quite terrifying XD
You can always tell if they're new to Rimworld if their game isn't the most modded thing on Earth

Shack when you get your food under control you should star making batter meals. The fine and lavish meals give a mood boost. To fix the religion capture a new guy get him to join the colony, as you geting him to join you look at what you need to build an alter or symbol, the star having him convert you colony it will tack time, remember the better look the shine or temp the faster it goes.
