I was there at the show in the tan coloured essentials hoodie I made it into mat armstrongs video and was gobsmacked when I saw Hammond so i was listening in to what his thoughts where about the cars π

I'm glad he mentioned the Beetle. He's really ragged on them in various episodes of things. I drive a stock 1972 SuperBeetle, I was wondering how he'd react.
He should take this on the road. Go to various places in the world; the USA in particular. I'd bring my Beetle many hundreds of miles and pay to get in to a random car show to have Richard Hammond give it the car-journalist once-over and chat with him for a minute about it.
