Only after interacting with a small clan for several decades did my wife and i learn that there are at least 3 different types and could be a forth. Two don't intentionally go after humans but will defend themselves if they are threatened. More than likely what was scaring most of these folks was holograms or thoughts of fear they put in humans brain. These gifts they have are all supposedly defencive weapons, given to them by the universe after a natural process called enlightenment. All intelligent species must go through this in order for their species to continue. Apparently our universe is a conscious being that determines who stays and who will perish.
