Though Element 115 is currently called "Moscovium", I hope they rename it to "Lazarium" when it's used for anti-gravity propulsion systems.
It's not NASAs job to focus on climate change, but I do believe that WE should focus more on saving and improving Earth instead of trying to go to Mars.

NO.. Never without habitats. There is no terraforming Mars tech that can replace it's electromagnetic field. Any atmo we released would simply be blown off the planet by solar winds.

Colonizing mars seems like a weird goal to me. About 57% of earth's land surface isn't used by humans (both urban and agriculture purpose). How about we do something about that instead?

Life was very possible on Mars during the habitable epoch a very long time ago, I am personally convinced of an ancient Mars civilization that was brutally wiped out due to natural or other circumstances – I have been exploring the surface of Mars for a few years now with good programs (Google Earth PRO) and magnification tools and I found at least some “suspicious” traces of a hypotetic life there…
But there is no point in colonizing Mars in the future, Mars is a brilliant and mystical geological museum, but unfortunately absolutely uninhabitable in this era. Nowadays,
it´s more of a target for kamikazes (Musk & Co.), but not for sensible people.
We should first think about our problems here on planet Earth and try to get these problems under control and later colonizing other exo-planets (a difficult task)…
Human inclination towards waste and not their intellectual makes me to say no. We were not able to preserve what was without any effort and cost given to us, we can start everything FROM SCRATCH? I BELIEVE NO.
Great, i love the idea: let us destroy what we do not build and let us build from scratch one for ourselves. Or another example is as: let me leave the food in my house to spoil and in the meanwhile let me plant and see, maybe the plants will grow before the foid spoils…. i can give countless example.
We were never gonna make it.Its sad nasa and the world even thought mars was remotely close to a "good" planet to go to colonize.Terraforming mars alone will take millions of years we dont have.Titan is a way better candidate for life it has oceans an atmosphere and its similar to earth even tho its a moon,the point being why focus on a planet that is nothing but a red rock with no atmosphere and sandstorms than a moon similar to earth that we can actually work with,and to think everyone in nasa are smart af,the smartest dumbest people known to man.

pump TONS and TONS of co2 into the atmosphere, plant primitive plants and in a few hundred thousand years you might get a breathable atmosphere
Wouldn't it be better to build an O'Neil Colony. The beauty of an O' Neil Colony is that you could make it extremely Earth-like. In addition, there would be no need to crawl in and out of a somewhat deep gravity well. Furthermore, if you construct it using resources from the moon and the asteroids it would be far more economical than building a Mars colony, especially if you used it as a base to construct solar power satellites, build space ships from locally available resources, and as a base to explore the rest of the solar system. Plus, because it is located in space, you could move your colony to another location in space if the reward was big enough, unlike a Mars Colony, which would be tied to a fixed location.
