Mon-Yu as a Dungeon RPG, is functional but exceedingly basic. There are more compelling games from the same developer and numerous other titles in the genre worth exploring. The game appears to rely heavily on recycled assets and systems, resulting in a rudimentary gaming experience. To reiterate the essence of the game:
“Defeat Monsters And Acquire Powerful Weapons And Armor. You Might Face Defeats, But Never Surrender. Strive to Grow Stronger. I Have Faith That One Day, Heroes Will Overcome the Devil King.”

Yeah, I'm definitely skipping this one. If a dungeon crawler is mediocre there is just no point, especially considering how long these types of games can be.
This is from the same studio that released Undernauts right? I adore that game and thought it was a hidden gem. What on Earth went wrong in development on this one?
For the first time in a very very long time, I don't have anything to comment on this one. It's a game, with stuff happening that I've seen a thousand times before. I guess I can argue about how this will be remembered about as well as any of NIS America's releases that we don't care about until it's the one game that somebody needs to collect to complete their collection of new IP switch games in like 20 years.
HOLY SHIT YOU CAN PLAY AS CHARACTERS FROM SPIRIT HUNTER NG?? i mean i know their avatars but I LOVE THAT
Etrian Not-dyssey
aw man, that's a shame. still, i appreciate you saving us money.
I can't understand dungeon crawlers full pirce, as it have berley any assets
Ah to bad, i usually love drpg's by experience…i was fully excepting buying and loving it but now im not so sure anymore
Experience should have just made Undernaughts Labyrinth of Yomi 2, that game was pure class.
Waiting in a sale for this one
This was a day one buy for me, unfortunately. Such a huge let down after Labyrinth of Yomi. Labyrinth of Galleria is 100 times better.
The grind is quite tedious in this 1 :')
Also, yes, i find it weird that Exp Inc made this bare minimum of a DCRPG after what they gave us with Undernauts…
Hope Exp Inc learn from this 1… Alas, i'm waiting for Death Mark 2
Since the game was announced, I feel like they created this game for a much much younger crowd than your usual DRPG. I love all Experience releases, but this will be the first one I'm gonna pass.
What are the best DRPG? I don't know why but I love this type of RPG
Just asking, but how long did you play the game? All the areas you shown look too similar.
bros really hit us with the isekai LN title
Pity it's this bad as a game, because I really like the artstyle
Starting to worry about Noisy Pixel. Lots of reviews really fast but waaay different from everyone elses reviews. Constantly bashing games that others really like and giving high reviews to bad games…
isn't the genre called Dungeon-Crawlers?
Dang, that's unfortunate, I'd been looking forward to this based on the name. Hopefully another, better DRPG comes along with a longer, more cumbersome name.
nice you mentioned undernauts i remember when you guys reviewed that it was the first time i proper tried (and got massively hooked to, then finished) a first person dungeon crawler. amazing game
Reminds me of drakken
