Wolf vs. Dog Intelligence!
When it comes to Wolf vs. Dog intelligence scientists say that dogs have the intelligence of a two year old child and the IQ of around 100. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find out the average age or IQ of wolves, but scientists agree that wolves are 10 times smarter than the smartest dogs. Wolves are also smarter than lions, tigers, and other large predators. One thing they’ve noticed is that wolves and dogs have a different understanding of barriers and territory. I can totally relate to this. Every time I bring Honey and Bob to the dog park, Bob’s a good boy and plays within the boundaries of the fence. Honey doesn’t see the fence at all. It’s just something fun to jump over. She has a tendency to jump the fence to greet all her friends, and when she’s bored, she’ll jump the fence to greet new friends in the parking lot. As you can imagine, this causes major issues. Most dog owners are not very fond of being greeted at their car by a wolf. 🐺 ❤️ 🐾

I've had many dogs in my lifetime. I've had at least 3 that were out of this world intelligent. I've had a few that were very smart, and I've had some that were not as smart or couldn't show it because they weren't alpha. The highly intelligent ones were pit/lab mix, lab mix, and Shepard/chow mix. My mom has had dingos and they are highly intelligent, too.
Just k ow that you can never determine how much of a wolf your wolfdog will be, lots of people get lucky and end up with a loyal pet. But plenty of people end up with a deadly wild animal 🤙

They are smart. But not 10x smarter than a dog. That means a wolf is high school senior intelligence. But AOC is a “college graduate” and my dog is definitely 100x smarter than her.

Just so you know, I'm pretty sure every species has an average IQ of 100, because that's exactly what it is. IQ is just your intelligence compared with the average intelligence of people your age, with the average being 100.
