If he thinks the police have a RIGHT to deny recording, its based on what law? Because there's NYC Ordinance that say the citizens HAVE the RIGHT to RECORD the POLICE. And the POLICE can't stop them.

The New York City Council passed legislation from Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams that would codify and protect the right of civilians to record police officer activity.
