A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a shooting at a busy luxury mall in the centre of Bangkok, Thai police said.

Emergency services said at least three people were killed and three injured in the incident at the Siam Paragon shopping centre at about 5pm local time. Medics said one of the wounded was a foreign national. Footage shared on social media showed crowds running to evacuate the mall, ushered out by security guards.

the saddest thing about this part is that one of the killed victims is a 34-year-old Chinese mother with twin 5-year-old daughters. The Chinese woman was shot and announced dead when the police arrived while one of the daughters cried for help, the other asked someone if their mother would die, with fluids on her butterfly tie, seemingly her mother's blood.
More people owning guns = higher chance this happens compare to neighboring countries in asia.
