I kinda disagree mostly because if he didn’t have the ten shadows nothing he could have done would have been able to hit Gojo. And even at the end there if he hadn’t developed the one technique capable of hitting Gojo I think it would’ve been a really close match that could’ve gone either way.
Did no one read the manga? He took the 10 shadows for the Mahoraga's adaptive slash to kill Gojo. You think Sukuna needed anything else? Cause all of the beasts(even the fused ones) are utterly weak against Gojo and way weaker thab Sukuna.
Not so sure about that, yeh he could have basically pulled a second stage boss fight on Gojo, but if he didn't have mahoraga he may not have been able to decipher how to beat Gojo in the first place, and he couldn't use mahoraga on his true form, he rlly needed to last long enough in that form for him to secure his victory, and if Gojo overwhelmed him while he still didn't know how to bypass his infinity it may have been over (and Gojo came pretty close)

The solution was simple. Make them appesr more equal thsn gojo stomping sukuns constantly
He didn't use abilities he knew wouldn't work it was stated to be that simple, both of them had to restrict their kit because both of them knew many of their attacks would be a waste of course energy either because of infinity or in gojo's case because of maharaga, but if not for maharaga sukuna could not have won and I understand that but instead of being like "oh gojo should have won" I like to factor maharaga in as an IQ play because he took 10 shadows with gojo in mind
Imagine hating a op character YOU MADE so much that when a pinnical battle goes down and fans root for that character you pull an entire 180 and say " actually fuck you. Sukuna was bluffing the whole time and could kill gojo anytime, and you dont even get the closure of seeing how it happens im off screening him like a black guy in a 90s horror film"
