This is “Morning in Brixton” from my debut album “Grey Day”.
This is one of those tracks that took about 15 minutes to write but then another ten years before I was finally able to record it in the studio. I write a lot of nonsense, but I was always very proud of this song and thought it was amongst some of my best writing. It really did come out of nowhere.
