  1. I've never heard you go out quite like that so it must be one hell of a game and despite that major flaw. Makes me want to get the game, and if the developers are anything like their developers of Colt Canyon, they may do an update where they turn permadeath off or give you the option to do so. Here's hoping! 🤞🏿🤞🏿

  2. Personally I really love the roguelike aspect of this game. The permadeath makes a lot of the decisions more interesting (eg can I flirt with the townspeople for scaling upgrades, or do I have to buy hearts to avoid dying tomorrow?) The fact that you have a finite number of days before you are forced into fighting bosses means you have to extract value from your time. IMO it plays more similar to Slay The Spire than an actual farming game, and from that lens the permadeath aspect makes sense.

    Nevertheless, great review and happy to see this gem of a game in the spotlight
