With all the dreadful things that are happening in the world today, the horrible way people treat each other you guys are all that is keeping me going, I am so depressed and then I watch and listen to you guys save and talk to the seals and I hear them talking in the background and my heart is lifted. I thank God for this group of people in a little country like Namibia who are doing huge wonderful things for those that can’t help themselves. Love OCN from the youngest to the oldest,

    There IS NO government funding for this in Namibia! There is NO wildlife veterinary care for these seals in Namibia! IF this small but mighty group (OCN rescuers) doesn't see and disentangle these beautiful animals …. then most of them will DIE horrible deaths! There are no other resources for seals injured by HUMAN TRASH! So again ….

    PLEASE — Let's HELP these AMAZING VOLUNTEERS!

    ALSO…. please try to help wherever you live… collecting and removing trash in the environment. If you're in the fishing industry (or know someone who is) … please find a way to keep and remove fishing gear so that it doesn't take the life of marine animals. We must find environmentally safe fishing, packing, and shipping materials and do so NOW. We have created this horrible situation, and it's our responsibility to correct it.
