Mistaken beliefs and self-styled gods, the Therns, control this twisted utopia, enslaving the unsuspecting arrivals. Carter is pulled into a whirlwind of deceit, mythical entities, and deadly confrontations, as he seeks to unveil the reality behind the supposed divine realm. In “The Gods of Mars” by Edgar Rice Burroughs, each step could lead Carter to illuminating truths or ensnare him deeper in the labyrinth of celestial mysteries.
