With a little adjustment, though, I think that Yohane the Parhelion: Blaze in the Deepblue will take full shape into a beginner-friendly game that still lives up to Inti Creates’ high standard. It offers a unique take on the genre even for veterans while bringing in fans of the parent series who want to see their faves do more than sing and dance. I’ll be looking forward to seeing this cast in action when the game releases this fall.

1:53 That reminds me of Ender Lilies, a Metroidvania where the playable character doesn't fight, they just summons spirits to fight for them.
The summoning weapons for attacks reminds me of Castlevania Order of Ecclesia. Pretty sure other games have done that concept, but the visual execution immediately reminded me of Shanoa.
