  1. This game is brutally amazing and of course i mean that a good way, Addictive battle system and builds, so many weapons and ways to change the handles around. Just a fantastic game, and I'm a Souls vet and this game is challenging..

  2. Great content as always!
Figured out the Hard cap of ergo needed for leveling is 16,000. Afterwards it only increases by 1 or 2 souls a level ~ This game has become the best souls like by far for Max Leveling

  3. The whole opera house area is so cool honestly, down to the boss and the music throughout. I know its standard fare to jokingly call this game bloodborne 2 but that section in particular felt original and it rocked so hard

  4. God I am SO excited to play this. Been waiting for this one for a long time. I tried to keep my hype in check. But then I saw the scores and reviews and I couldn't help it. Now I see Lobos say it's his favorite Souls-like? That is a huge endorsement. My copy is in the mail now and I absolutely cannot fucking wait.

  5. I know it’s too late Lobos, but for context so it makes more sense:

There was no message. You told the tophat guy the truth.

You also told the butler the truth that a puppet cannot love a Human. The lie would be saying “yes of course they can.” You’ve never seen such a thing. Though the butler is a puppet who says he’s awakened from the Ergo just like you, so he’s clearly different, so lying to him is only a plus for him.

You got mixed up because you for some reason assumed you missed a message written by the tophat guy’s puppet wife— But that was the lie. You’ve missed some stuff by unfortunately mixing these things up. The game is kinda unforgiving in that way, because if you don’t lie, you often lose access to some stuff completely. I think adding a timer to the choice will force some people to brainfart and mess up unfortunately

  6. It’s my definitive favourite souls or souls-like game after beating it. Being able to read the puppet bosses gibberish in new game plus is blowing my mind currently

  7. Man I just spent 4+ hours on the Romeo, King of Puppets boss… And I still haven't won. It's really harsh to have to do two phases of a boss, and then another whole boss with two phases. Brings me back to Radagon/Elden Beast, which I really disliked because Elden Beast is so different from Radagon.

  8. I'm currently going to school for interactive media and game design. I want to work on props and environment art. This game is so rich in all of that. I've been loving taking it all in.

  9. Romeo killing P to stop it all vs P killing Romeo to have whatever happen. (Nothing good for sure)

  10. the best souls like from fromsoftware must be bloodborne or maybe sekiro. but outside, this may very well be the best. Better than dark souls series for sure. at least from a gameplay perspective/controlls but that is not hard to do.

  11. This is a nitpick, but one thing that consistently annoys me in this game is Gemini. Between his casting & direction, he reminds me A LOT of 9S from Nier: Automata, and it's really not for me. Like 9S, I find he rarely has anything interesting to say, with most of his dialogue instead boiling down to expositing information that is already being shown to the player via the environment. But, again, that's just a nitpick.

  12. 4:35:18 I cannot help but point out the wonderful detail in the Dancer's blade here; all swords have a bevel that leads to the edge and it's visible while the camera is over P's shoulder like that.

It's such a small thing but it makes a huge difference imo. 🙂
