Mateusz Morawiecki said that Poland is no longer transferring weapons to Ukraine because it aims to arm itself “with the most modern weapons”.

The Polish Prime Minister spoke of the military modernisation plan underway which has been spurred by fears of Russian aggression in the region.

  6. Poland should not play politics for the sake of elections. As professional politicians, they must sit together with their neighboring country and solve the problem together. Don't act childish, not even in the media. As Pres. Zelynsky slips up once in a while, forgive him. The man is under immense pressure and stress that few leaders could handle. And where does that leave the EU? Buy all the grain from Ukraine and send it to Africa. That would be development cooperation that would be useful. When Putin hears what is going on between Poland and Ukraine over grain, he laughs his head off. Then Putin thinks we are on the right track, we will succeed. God damn Poland…

  12. Russian bots/apologists may think this is a good thing, but if the West sends fewer weapons to Ukraine then the likelihood that NATO countries will have to put boots on the ground increases.

  17. It was Poland, who has given shelter, job, education, medical care to over 1.5 million Ukranian refugees. Polish people opened their hearts, just to help neighbors….. now they want to protect own market. of course. helping Ukrainians costed billions of dollars. Poland has given military aid worth 3,2 US dollars (tanks, fighter jest and other weapon) Poland and Polish people has delivered and still delivering humanitarian aid . everything was done, is done with opened heart. so much effort. its understandable that Poland wants to protect own market. Zelensky shot his knee … sending support to my Polish friends.

  18. Ukraine must apologize over the grain problem and withdraw any lawsuit. The gains from Poland's backing them with arms and refugee help is more important. Russia is gloating over this misstep.

  19. as much as i understand polish language it was said that poland will not deliver NEW WEAPON. It was said also by president Duda. Agreed weapon, weapon which is in good condition, which will be replaced with new will be delivered. also as i understood HUB in Rzeszow city works well, this is a transfer place for delivering weapon from other countries. if we look for reliable informations, it would be important to mention that.
