Its the day after Copilot was supposed to release, and apparently it wasn't in the update. I wonder if this scathing review ot the "preview" (which, let's be honest, was probably identical to the intended production release) was enough to make Microsoft rethink releasing an obviously useless tool that would have been good for nothing but memes. Looks like this idea needs more time in the oven before it is fully baked.

I’m not a gamer but it seems like nvidia may be trying to take the game industry under its arm and subtly nudge it in the direction of AI so that all the billions nvidia is investing in AI would not leave the game industry out from its revenue stream 🤷🏻♂️
There are also fair amount of ways to mitigate CPU security issues through software, which might hurt performance but overall not necessarily a major concern.

photogrammetry is a quick and easy way to get pretty realistic results but if you want really realistic results photogrammetry won't do especially for animated objects and foliage

Those 2-side LD players didn't have two laser pickups (well, maybe there are some out there that did have two…), instead they had a long U-shaped carriage track (*) that wrapped around the disc from bottom to top. The carriage would play from the center of the bottom side, get to the outside edge, keep going until it was out of the way of the disc at the back of the player, then do a 180, move to the center of the top of the disc, and start playing that side. While this was happening, the player would stop spinning the hulking disc, and then start it back up in the opposite direction.
It was more than "a blip." 🙂 A blip is what happened with early DVD players that changed layers, until memory got cheap enough to buffer a few seconds of the MPEG stream to make it more or less seamless. LD players switching sides was a whole event, complete with spin-down and spin-up noises (remember: a 12" disc spinning at 1800 RPM), while the giant carriage made clunking noises. It took about 20 seconds or so before you got video on-screen.
(*): The actual mechanism varied. I have a Sony player, and a Kenwood player that I think was manufactured by Panasonic. Both of these move the laser pickup in a U-shaped track around the edge of the disc. But, some Pioneer units had more of a carriage elevator. The pickup assembly moved along parallel rails while reading the disc. When it got to the end of side A (the bottom), it would slide off the end of the rails into a lift mechanism, flip itself over in-place, then slide onto a second set of rails above the disc for side B.
Pioneer had a thing for complicated mechanisms. Technology Connections has a video about a combo LD player / CD changer that used a robotic arm to move CDs into the center where the playback transport lived. It's fascinating to watch, but I'm sure it was a PITA to service.

Regarding ltx and the workload why not hire outside help to organize it and spend 5 mins a day just to verify everything is going smoothly without killing the core team.
ive worked for a "big" company, that was the same side as your company which had an entire legal team of about 5 ppl, they were specialised in different fields so there was a larger coverage of what they knew combined, however it was always related to the laws that were relevant for our field, or to with finances around the law

If you want high volumes of hot water, its more efficient to have a well insulated loop with a return to the boiler. Then the only wasted water is going from the loop to the tap. Its how large hotels operate, and because unused returns back to the boiler, it doesnt have to heat all of it from supply temp
