On that last big pass to the one yard line, Notre Dame went into a PREVENT DEFENSE, which of course only prevents you from winning. When you play not to lose, you usually do lose. You gotta play to win: attack the quarterback. BLITZ THE QUARTERBACK. Do something!!! …… Ohio State, on the other hand, played to win, and so they DID WIN. ……. A stupid coaching decision by the Notre Dame defensive coordinator helped Ohio State complete an amazing comeback. ……. But they never learn. He'll do the same thing again next time, like they all do. Lol.

Is anybody going to mention that one of the announcers thought the OSU punter’s last name was Micro, rather than Mirco? He said that despite the “small” last name, he was actually normal height, or something like that. It was at Ohio State’s first punt, I think. His reading skills apparently needed some work. After the first punt, he got it right.

As an Ohio State fan, thank God that next week is our BYE game. My body can't handle the anxiety / stress I had during that entire game lol. If both teams can clean up the small mistakes like penalties, 10 players on field, etc. then I can see both of these teams making the CFP. Rooting for Notre Dame to win out just as much as the Buckeyes. Very Good match
Bottom line, I think until the Irish have that truly elite talent that can generate a significant pass rush (and some sacks) and some receivers that can stretch the field against the top teams, they're going to be an "almost" team.
The younger talent coming in just might be exactly that.
We will soon see.

OSU's spike was it man! Tressle always said the PUNT is the most important play in football. On 9/23/23, THE SPIKE was the most important play in football!!!!!!!!!!! 100% executed to a T. Led to a big victory! Most NFL teams screw up the spike, not osu! Ain't nobody talking about that spike! Well done! 4-0!

Apparently Lou Holtz thinks the Buckeyes were the only ones stopped twice on 4th down. Buckeyes went into your house and won with a 4 man front majority of the game. Lou Holtz wants to say kids are not tough enough and Notre Dame “won” the game…the unsportsmanlike penalty in 3rd quarter completely changed the game. Yardage was almost identical. It’s play calling that makes a difference and to think otherwise is a joke and it’s classless. Holtz is piggybacking off of Harbaugh and it’s obvious he is upset Notre Dame has not beaten Buckeyes since 1936 😂 but thanks for feeding the Bucks for the rest of the season, it’s greatly appreciated!
