US: Wrong car forced off road in police chase



An Arkansas police officer pursuing a speeding white four-door sedan pushed a similar car off the road in error.

The innocent motorist and passenger were unharmed but the car was heavily damaged in the unfortunate incident.

  1. Aside from the obvious lawsuit that will ensue, im interested to know exactly how the police will handle this.

    The right thing to do would have the funds approved to repair or replace the vehicle as soon as possible without any red tape or lengthy insurance claims but something tells me it wont be that simple which is a frustrating thought for the family who will be severly inconvenienced by this.
