If a victim is after closure and justice the only fair way is through the courts otherwise an innocent person can be found guilty and lose everything and any means to defend themselves. Is it fair to lose everything based on someone's word?, instantly? Not everyone can just rebuild themselves after that. Cancel culture seems to be more about silencing and stopping someone from having too much reach in this kind of instance, just deleting them from having any relevance or place in society. I didn't like the Russel from way back but I think he's done a lot to get where he is now, worked on himself, on his sobriety, addictions and seemingly how he treats others. If there's something to be said, do it the fair way. It took them how many years to find 4 people to give evidence against him to make this documentary? 4 years? I'm all for giving victims justice but not without the law being involved and not a modern day lynch mob and then the UK government gets involved in putting pressure on all platforms to follow each other's reaction of demonetising.
