  1. We really enjoyed Smugglers' Run – did it a few times when we came in August. Good fun getting to perform different roles. I wouldn't join an 80 minute queue for it though (or anything to be honest – we twice ended up in queues that long – one for Space Mountain and one for Webslingers – but both were posted much, much shorter and something went wrong) so I can understand why it's mostly lightning lane guests going in when the posted queue time is over an hour.

  2. Crowds aren't as bad for locals, Passholders, frequent attendees. For people who are on Vacation, may get to come once a year, every couple years or once in a lifetime, bigger crowds definitely affect them more negatively.

  3. I don’t blame ya on Astro orbiter over star tours!

As a kid I could do mission space 5 times in a row, before they established the easier version. Now I get sick on even the Minions 4D theatre “ride” at universal.

  4. i live in socal and we never go in the summer bc we always think it will be so crowded. i only go once/twice a year and always in the fall bc it’s my favorite so maybe other people are like me and are going to the parks at this time 🙂

  5. Love your channel, but to be fair about your "I'm here to enjoy the vibe" comment. Not everyone at DL is a season pass holder, if I am here with my family and we are here for 3 days we are going rope drop to close and getting everything in possible! Certainly if you are a pass holder or local by all means that makes sense.

  6. Sometimes that wait at Star Tours can be high if they are down a ship or two. Glad we have our reservations locked in for next weekend. I haven’t been since July.. kind a bummed Space Mtn is down.

  7. It's amazing. I start watching this video thinking I should definitely go this Christmas break with the fam. And by the time you get past Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and then get into Galaxy's Edge, I'm rethinking. "Maybe Hawaii ain't that far…"

  9. They're promising the investment to try and get investors excited so the stock price goes up. If you notice, they are spreading the $60 million over 10 years, so it is only $6 billion a year. At that rate of expenditure they might not have to borrow the money.

  10. That is fascinating how almost nobody goes in the StandBy line for Smugglers Run. But I kind of understand it. If it’s your first visit since Galaxy’s Edge opened you HAVE to check it out so you use Genie+ for it. And if you’re a local and see StandBy posted at 80 you definitely opt for Single Rider if you really want to do it. And then there’s many people like me who rode it one time and have no plans to do it again because it was so disappointing.

  11. At minute 14, you said you like to see a lot of people at the park enjoying themselves, then you pass a couple huggin'. The timing was perfect! I love happy people at the park.😊Thx Dave

  12. Remember, the 7,000 layoffs were the result of a deal with Ike Perlmutter and Nelson Peltz in order for Peltz's activist group Trian to not seek a seat on the board. It had nothing to do with Disney's bottom line. Look it up.

  13. I loved Disneyland until about 2000. Every bit of magic is now gone. I don't understand why anyone would spend a fortune to spend time in an over-crowded nightmare. Look at everyone's faces; they are absolutely miserable. Nobody is having a good time. The Unhappiest Place on Earth.

  14. You might as toss those wait times posted in the toilet. Do better Disney. We’re not buying it anymore. Truth in reporting. Walt would’ve been quite upset to know that many many guests have had some of the ‘magic’ smeared in their face with actions such as this.

  15. I can tell you as a local that I completely avoid the park for most of June and all of July and August. Its too hot. The park is usually packed. Prices are sky high. I can't be the only one.

  16. Smugglers run is good for ppl who never did it. Or a kid who loves it, other than that it's meh. Tianas was sold out every day this past weekend, fri-sun by 10am. Crowds weren't bad till Sunday, and it's the last week of California discount tickets.
