Ukraine War: Did Russia fire missiles at RAF spy plane?

It’s been claimed that a Russian pilot deliberately tried to shoot down a RAF spy plane last year, believing he had been given permission to fire.

Russia blamed a “technical malfunction” for the incident over the Black Sea. But intercepted communications reportedly suggest the pilot fired after receiving an ambiguous command from a Russian ground controller.

Professor Michael Clarke has analysed reports detailing a “dangerous” incident involving two Russian jets and a RAF aircraft over the Black Sea.

  1. How can a sophisticated modern air to air missile „miss“ or „loose lock“ on a huge plane??? That seems odd for me. Also this video is obviously not objective (how can It be in such a situation) but I wonder what really was going on.

  2. I realise we don’t want a nuclear war, but in view of Russia’s continued bullying and brinkmanship shouldn’t we just defend ourselves and shoot them down as soon as they attack our aircraft? I’m a veteran and from what I see is every time be ignore this provocation we are back in the world of appeasement, Chamberlain, self defence involving shooting down an attack by a foreign power will not result in a nuclear war but will more likely put them back in the box.
I mourn the death of our once valiant RAF thanks to positive discrimination and Wokeness!!!

  3. I am not advocating on the Russian side, but one must comprehend and understand possible the thoughts that Russian military personnel may think when seeing such Planes near the war zone. The UK and NATO might not be pulling the trigger, but they are aiming the gun. Spy Planes are marking targets for Ukraine. Thus tensions will only escalate till we all are in a war.
    Praying for peace 🙏

  4. RAF is NOT the only ones operating crewed survalence aircraft in that area. USAF also operates RC135 and is also in the region and rotates missions beteween RAF and USAF.

  5. Pretty ballsy of the UK to conduct surveillance flights there, especially manned. Kudos to Sky for calling it a spy plane; that's what it was doing after all. No doubt Ukraine has made use of that surveillance data to strike targets in Crimea.

  6. Skvelé video! Naozaj mám otázku. Ako by ste odporučili niekomu, kto má investovať menej ako 10 000 dolárov, aby vstúpil na kryptotrh? Radšej študujem niektorých obchodníkov a kopírujem ich stratégiu, než investujem do seba a emocionálne strácam peniaze. Čo odporúčate prijať tento prístup?
