Moses’s descent from the mountain with the Ten Commandments had a significant impact on the Judeo-Christian tradition. The group discusses how these commandments provided fundamental rules that guided the tradition, providing a balance between tyranny and excess freedom and allowing for a more organized society.
Episode One will be available on YouTube indefinitely, serving as the gateway to this enlightening exploration. Episodes 2 through 17 will be available for a limited time, so be sure to watch as they release each Monday.

🎣If anyone reading this wishes to be closer to the lord I’d encourage you to speak to him with your voice. God hears our thoughts but our minds can be evil. Read the Bible it’s our souls ( daily )bread. Understand his 10 commandments and what Jesus said about them. And with the faith even the size of a mustard seed, repent turning from your sin. And always pray in Jesus name🙏🏾Commit your work to the lord and your plans will be established🤝🏾
Wow you all went bird-walking! What happened to the 1st commandments? Lol
Don’t forget God’s 11th commandment.
“As God spoke to Moses… Thou shalt bloody well, clean thy room” 😂
In all seriousness this series has been awesome! Thanks JP and crew…. Minus Shapiro
I'm a Christian. Sincere question. What justification supports God commanding the Isrealites to kill children in Numbers and Dueteronomy?
2:20:20 resting on Shabbat, that is no creative work, is a fundamental statement that the person resting trusts the Heavenly Father to make the sincere work done in the other six days sufficient to provide the needs of the worker. Just as the amount of mana gathered on the sixth day was as much as needed for both the sixth day and Shabbat. Later in scripture we are further instructed to keep Shabbat “during seed time and harvest”. It takes a tremendous amount of trust to have worked hard all week and still have grain in the field Friday evening with a storm coming and stop work at sundown. Guarding Shabbat is a declaration to self and the world that our God is in ultimate control and the true supplier of our needs. That knowledge brings true peace thus Shabbat Shalom.
By Denis asking the sabbath question you guys prove you don't know the nt. (Love the show btw) the ritual for nt include lords supper, aqupella singing, gathering on the first day of the week, and offering first fruits of money.
Ritualistic rules do not prove righteoness or make Man good. The law and rituals were a foreshadowing to christ.
Observing days an rituals, time stamp two hours when Dennis brings up regarding one day above anther, in pagan and Jewish religions. The nt frees people from rituals and observing holidays. One ritual that is practiced is the lords supper. That was the big fight peter and Paul had. Peter was observing holidays and Paul put him in his place.
Oh, yes! A good dad deserves his own chair!💙
Who would have thought a discussion on the 10 commandments would involve the work of a puffer fish? 😅 Great content!
The story that Dennis tells of the Jews putting God on trial (whilst may have happened) is misplaced. At that point in history God was no longer 'wedded' to the nation of Israel, and therefore His (and their) part of the old covenant was no longer in play. The whole of the old testament reflects perpetual adultery by Israel, with God patiently telling them that if they continued like the harlot (rather than a faithful wife), He would divorce her by right. The final act of adultery was the worship of Caesar instead of His son, and in cahoots with Rome killed her proposed husband. This was the last straw, and whilst all the promises to Israel (the remnant) were fulfilled through Jews coming to Christ (I.e. the disciples and early Church), John's Revelation was given. The Revelation is both God's divorce of Israel, and the marriage to His new wife, the Bride of Christ, the church. This culminated in the destruction of the Jewish temple in 70AD. Immediately after this point by Dennis, there's a discussion of 'clearing away' to make space for something new. God had to clear away the old elements of the old testament (animal sacrifice) so that the focus was on the actual saving sacrifice by Christ. There is only one Way to be in covenant with God now, and that is through Christ (there is no Jew or Gentile in Christ), and Jews like any other nation have access to God's promises by only coming to Christ.

Great thanks for everything… just to ad about the spirits because Jordan mentioned them a lot (the lord is mentioned as the master of the spirits), and about the table and angels ( lord is mentioned as the 1 that has his table above the angels and they report to him)
Beautiful thank you to y'all!
The bible is an interesting mythological story
Mr.prager wouldn't pledging allegiance to a cloth be idolatry?
I just finished reading the entire Old Testament. How many times should Jews have been able to break their contract with God and ignore and slaughter His attorneys (prophets) before it is ok for God to repudiate that contract? They have never consistently followed or obeyed God yet felt very secure in being entitled to the benefits of being Abraham's seed.
I mentioned it in the last video, but you can love someone even if they don't deserve it, and I believe God is no different.
God's love can be unrequited, He loves us all, calls us to His higher (highest, really) calling, but if we refuse, we won't be treasured how He wants.
So I wholeheartedly disagree. His love is unconditional. His acceptance isn't.
I enjoy this series so much. Thank you, Daily Wire, for making this accessible for us!
"If you care about goodness, you care about God being God." ❤
It took me back when listening to the nine videos while at work and over the weekend. I feel surprise and amazement for having the expansion of what I grew up learning about in a baptist church. And having some Hebrew insight on it added volumes of knowledge I wouldn't have guessed there was. I hope to see more in the days to come. God be with you and all of those that joined you in the venture, Dr. Peterson.
I perhaps would love a prominent buddhist figure to sit at the table aswell
I was always taught that the children of Israel switched covenants at this point in Exodus resulting in a list of commandments that were impossible to keep…
This is just utterly, undeniably, unequivocally and unprecedentedly great. Might be precedented now that I think about it and think of the times we used to value truth though.
Where Ep 10????? 🙁
Where can I find episodes 1 to 8?
Sabbath is just a symbol for us that became reality in Christ. If you want to keep it, you are free to do so, but it is just a sign.
“It is not at all obvious to me that I know how to rest” Dr. Jordon Peterson. Hmmm, now we are getting somewhere.
Why's episode 10 hidden?
Where is this week’s seminar
Did Dr Peterson talk about the Book of Enoch in Genesis lectures
How does no-one bring up that Christ said the sabbath is about MERCY not sacrifice. Take a rest! You need it IF you earn it the other six days of the week!
Thy shall not MURDER. Get it right!
The sabbath discussion drove me nuts. If i feel closest to god playing sports or gardening or renovating my house then that’s a more holy use of my time than attending some wretched church then I have kept the sabbath.
I don't know if it's done intentionally but mother taught us to make things with utmost care and respect when it comes to father. A 'yes' from dad is a 'yes' for the whole family and a 'no' from him is a 'no' for the whole family. Dad loved us and we felt safe knowing he's doing everything for our good though he sometimes fails.
He passed away in 2019 nevertheless he lives in me – the good and honourable bigger part of him.
Christians (Gentiles) need to return to worship with and celebrate the appointed times of the Jewish people. We are the wild branch grafted-in. And Christians should be bound to the Sabbath. G-d said it would be a covenant between Him and His people FOREVER. Why do we as Gentiles just decide, "Oh, it's our own thing."
Precious, precious moments when individuals of this intellectual caliper join together on these topics.
