🤔 NEW HERE? 🤔
Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil.

From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.

Choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.

Abducted, infected, lost. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength. Caught in a conflict between devils, deities, and sinister otherworldly forces, you will determine the fate of the Forgotten Realms together.

Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through our biggest world yet.

The Forgotten Realms are a vast, detailed and diverse world, and there are secrets to be discovered all around you — verticality is a vital part of exploration. Sneak, dip, shove, climb, and jump as you journey from the depths of the Underdark to the glittering rooftops of the Upper City. How you survive, and the mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

allows you to combine your forces in combat, and split your party to follow your own quests and agendas. Concoct the perfect plan together… or introduce an element of chaos when your friends least expect it.

offer a hand-crafted experience, each with their own unique traits, agenda, and outlook on the world. Their stories intersect with the entire narrative, and your choices will determine whether those stories end in redemption, salvation, domination, or many other outcomes.

based on the D&D 5e ruleset. Team-based initiative, advantage & disadvantage, and roll modifiers join combat cameras, expanded environmental interactions, and a new fluidity in combat that rewards strategy and foresight.

through your choices, and the roll of the dice. No matter who you play, or what you roll, the world and its inhabitants will react to your story.

allows you to pause the world around you at any time even outside of combat. Whether you see an opportunity for a tactical advantage before combat begins, want to pull off a heist with pin-point precision, or need to escape a fiendish trap. Split your party, prepare ambushes, sneak in the darkness — create your own luck!

  1. If you have all your short rest, abilities, HPs and spell slots you can avoid using camp supplies since you'd have nothing to get back XD

Well, that's how I do it anyway

  2. I love how Luckless is so kind and forgiving and laughs it off when Odd makes HUGE F-ups, like doing something that forced them to reload and redo an entire fight, but Luckless has to take so much venom from him for little things 😢 poor fella

  3. Take a closer look at the special ability on that legendary staff you picked up.

It lets you pick an element to gain resistance to, yes, but it ALSO gives you 2 free spells per short rest that correspond to the element you picked. That staff is BUSTED on casters.

  4. Journal also says Halsin left, as far as I know he never left? That happened in my game too though. Where the journal says Halsin left, yet he didnt, he's physically in may camp and in my party now and then. If it's just a 'cosmetic' bug then it's ok. But I'm worried it will affect quests. I dunno. Friggin journal is lying to us 😀

  5. Quick pointer: Dame Aylin was "TEMPORARILY" hostile when you provoked her after the Ghoul exploded. You probably would have been fine by knocking her out and waiting for her to get back up.
It's details like these with which you can avoid needless reloading and redoing 😉

  6. You guys dont need to use camp supplies every long rest. One you have all you spell slots you can just rest. Gales vigour is permanent. If you pove the extra hitpoints they will recharge after a long rest.

  7. Yeah the quest is bugged. I had the same thing happen to me. It gives me 4 updates. That Both Isobel and Aylin would help me. Despite me having nuked Isobel earlier in the game. And then that I killed both of them despite doing so much for them. Even though Aylin was still very much alive, and I didn't really help Isobel since I was Urged to slaughter her. I haven't gotten far enough yet to know if she will or won't appear later. Here's hoping!

  8. with the nightsong "losing something"… if you play as a paladin and break your oath your character will say "i feel like ive lost something". so my takeawayt is that by killing that wizard out of anger she broke her oath and became an oathbreaker paladin

  9. Tharciate Vigor works as inteded. It supposed to give 20 temporary HP after the long rest until the next long rest. So you long rest – get temporary 20hp, may lose them fighting, may not, doesn't matter, after next long rest you again get 20 temporary HP until the next long rest. In this case it is better to read the condition in the spread sheet rather than a description of the effect it gives (effect description says that temporary HP would last until long rest, but it's not the passive/condition description).

Dame Aylin journal seems bugged, yes, it literally says 2 contradicting things, died and will help xD.
However, I wouldn't worry that much, they (she and Isobel) leave your camp after Lorroakan anyway, always, with a pledge to help. So her not being in camp is somewhat by design. Although, she should've returned to camp, and left after 1 more talk pledging to be "there to help". But I wouldn't worry, will see, but yeah, Dame is bugged xD.

  10. "do you understand the words coming out of my mouth?" I thought it was Major Payne, but I googled it, and apparently, it was Rush Hour. After checking, I remember now it was when he was first meeting with Jackie Chan and thought he didn't speak English because he wasn't talking to him
