This is the MonTaming game I’m most curious about. Think it has so much potential and looks like one of the most unique approaches to these types of games.
I was scrolling through reddit yesterday and saw this trailer. It looks so good. The dev replied to post and answered some questions. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy, I'm loving the music and visuals already.

So basically, plot wise, it's what if Chaotic was actually MORE creative with its setting details and world mixing(To be fair, three dimensions is pretty creative already in that one).
I hope that this doesn’t come off as reductive, but I really love that the overworld is like a bunch of 2D Pokémon sprites in a Minecraft world.

When is the release date for the Switch?
I hope the game doesn't end with some kind of life lession and no one sees each other anymore. That or the whole game didn't matter in the end. Seems like a populat Anime ending that I hate. Otherwise I love it.
Finally, a monster collecting game that actually looks like it's doing it's own thing. This is what I want to see.
I do wonder if they have a deal with Microsoft to keep this game away from PlayStation for a while

I've had this on my steam wishlist for almost a year now
Cassette beasts and ova magica are my most antecipated games. But both games will take years to complete…
I mean I might get it because it does have a certain charm but in general I’m usually not into fusion type stuff in the genre. I’m more into the games that treat monsters like pets/companions.

I'm also excited for Cassette Beasts. I like the concept and the art style. I completly agree with your take on the cassette beast having a vibe different from pokemon and the art style is consistent. I think this one and Coromon are indigames with great potential

It certainly looks interesting and unique showing that it has developed a clear goal for its own approach to the monster taming genre.
But I've never been fond of the "2D design on 3D placement" that this game is using, and the music + monster appearances are really offsetting for me. I encourage others to look at the game and see if it's for them, but I'm confident that it wouldn't be for me.

I think there is less hype because the release date is so far away. It's easy to get distracted by games that recently came out, like Rune Factory 5 and Legends Arceus.
It has potential, I hope its a good game
For my birthday, I just want a Casette Beasts release date, not even the game just a release window at least.
