  1. use your coal to light those light posts in the mines they are persistent btw. correct there is a mines all underground that connect the islands. then there are dungeons indicated by the totems out front there appears to be 5 dungeons so far. braziers in dungeons take 5 coal and act as campfires and regen health and are not persistent. ( the braziers reset after you leave is what I've noticed but the light poles stay persistent until you clear it.)

    (2:33:22) in the mines were there are spikes that you can't go down in you can build foundations on them btw. ( Raptor figured it out 5mins later.) Yes I use jump roll a lot in the mines.

    map markers, click on map and keep left clicking looks to be about 9 options I agree they should add a house or campfire type one for outposts would be nice.

    For your Deer hunting question yes later on with sword upgrades you get special attacks, and you can buy adventure gear from the backpack vendor to increase your run speed. ( hat and chest looks like a satchel bag 250g each should be available around the 150 slot bag on a armor stand by the table) thats the best I know of atm only slightly ahead of this vod.
