Back in the early 80's I was in CO on vacation with a friend. We decided to drive through Boulder and stopped near the stadium. The entrance was open and we climbed up to the top level and what a view. This was during the Summer but I could imagine how nice it would be to watch a football game with the mountains in the background. I'm an SEC guy but happy for the success the Buffs are enjoying now. I hope it continues and will be watching.
The real…. Prime got these man ready for life and is showing people how to be successful in having full belief in yourself. More than just winning games Deion is conquering the NCAA with a true personality that is 100. A charisma that make people either flat out hate (which is just another way of flattery) or love him. But also showing the talent level that some of these HBCU have being unnoticed cause of the fact they go HBCU. Keep shaking up the world and keeping the people woke.
Like so many, I didn’t care for the “Neon Deon” of his early Atlanta/49ers days. Not just because I’m a lifelong Saints fan, who Neon single handedly beat us late in at least a dozen games (ATL & SFO were in NFC West with Saints back then). Yet because he was brash, etc., and could back it up on the field. I would have never guessed he would have grown into the amazing man, father, leader, and coach he has. He’s a class act. Truth is, he always was. Having fun watching Coach Prime …. Just winning (still).
Congrats on another victory BUT his team bought into the noise and had it not been for a dismal Neb QB it very welll may have been a different outcome. The noise fools put out. Had they played as they can, wlda been 72 to 20. When a team is given turnovers that should equate to 7 but dont, gotta know you have an issue somewhere and its mental. Yea win is a win I agree BUt when this solid team CU goes up against the likes of USC for example, this BS in first half cant happen and DS knows this. Come back to earth, stay humble and grounded and do YOUR JOB as in week 1. Great wake up call here. Semper Fidelis
What I like about this team is they're NEVER satisfied. They don't "rest on their laurels." They focus on their mistakes, and how to correct them and get better. And that's a tribute to Coach Sanders and the mindset he's instilled in these young men. GO BUFFS!
