Guests: Joe Lindsley ( https://www.youtube.com/@uafreedomnews ), Matthew Tyrmand

Two days after retaking the Black Sea oil rigs from the Russians – popularly known as the Boyko Towers – Ukraine made another daring attack. Russian controlled Sevastopol shipyard went up in flames and two Black Sea fleet ships were damaged beyond repair following a Ukrainian missile and drone attack. Joe Lindsley joined us on Rock Rachon to talk about the capture of the oil rigs, the Sevastopol attack and a piece by former UK prime minister Boris Johnson. Later in the show we’re joined by Matthew Tyrmand to talk about the Conservative movement in the US and Europe.

  1. I wonder if Roc is informed enough to know that the issue with Russia doing business with North Korea, isn’t due to the sanctions placed on Russia for the invasion of Ukraine …but more so that Russia has a permanent seat at the UN, and the UN Security Council, long ago, placed sanctions on the DPRK…prohibiting any country from trading weapons or ammunition with the hermit kingdom. In his report he made a comment that made me believe that he was unaware of that, but instead thought that NK shouldn’t be doing business with Putin, due to the sanctions that have been levied against the Russian Federation. LOL ole Roc Racon is a trip, and often seems to act like he is toasted from some good smoke!!!

  3. I just love how a country that, well lets face it the only thing that russia has is it's navy, and that navy sucks so much that it keeps losing ships and one Submarine to a country that they invaded that has no navy. 😂 I stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦 🇺🇲.

  5. It maybe too early to let Ukraine join the EU but surely they are better suited to membership than Hungary who appear to side with Russia. They are fifth columnists and in my opinion should be kicked out.

  8. Thank you for showing just how well Ukraine hit those ships and port. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦💙💛💙💛💙💛 also thank you for explaining what's going on in the EU. I had always thought the EU was mainly about the free movement of commerce but each country kept it's independence and ruled itself. I can understand why Poland and other countries don't want to have to bow in total to another. This whole war in Ukraine is to protect and keep their freedom's, to put democracy fully in place. I understand coming to agreements and working together, but interfering in how another country governs itself is wrong other then the basic agreements on how people are treated and the others follow a general set of some rules. From how I always understood it a country like Hungry isn't living up to the original basic standards. It sounds in many ways like trying to form a new kinda of take over, as the russians did with the soviet block and what hitler wanted. I grew up very close with a Polish family, they were the family that watched me after school and over the summer while my parents were at work. I learned a lot from them, including first they were overtaken by Germany during the war then soviet russia as soon as the war ended. I can understand why they would be a little pissed off and why they and other countries would not want to be under the thumbs of another ever again. The people of their country with the power of their vote have proven this point.

  9. Does Poland object to the Ukrainian grain being transported to ports in Poland to be shipped out to Africa to at least get some, though smaller amount of grain to them. For certain, a single bowl of grain is better than none at all. Other countries could also take some of that traffic to spread it around. Collectively, the countries of Europe could in fact get that grain moving to countries in Africa IF they wanted to. The economies of those countries can gain economic benefits through the dock workers that load the ships. Sounds like a win-win situation. It would certainly anger the Soviets and that is a good thing. // Standards? I do not think that most countries already in NATO, EU and UN meet the standards for being a member. No one does anything except look after itself, so why have ANY of these organizations. They fail to accomplish anything significant. UN: Is there any place on earth without war, hatred and violence. There is no peace and security. NATO: Is any country actually feel safe and secure? No. EU: Are all the countries economies flourishing so well? No. You keep a country out of an organization that has the capability to help an organization and you totally counter the whole idea of the organization. You all fail to remember the old saying, "hang together or hang separately." You also show the prophecy and principle that states that mankind has no ability to rule over anyone. I have yet to find a country that does not suffer from corruption, hatred, bigotry, crime and violence. Some are better than others, but not by much. Work together and accomplish much, work separately and accomplish nothing.

  12. This guy…. The VETO thing is currently being discussed in the EU Parliament. It's also about giving big processes a chance instead of an objective view from the other side of the planet. The EU government being EU-centric… it's weird right and then pulls a fear card 😂He pretends as if Germany is taking over with their industry, but the reality is that they invested in all sorts of sectors to create good jobs with decent pay and the education that comes with it. Just look at where equipment is needed for military needs alone to protect everybody's collective arses. The same goes for Romania and Bulgaria now. All sort of new industries and education in the technology sector is flowing in and this is just one example of many. When shit must get done suddenly all faces do go in a certain direction and when there's elections coming up they are suddenly the outside boogieman makes me wow a bit. Economically Poland was very different 30 years ago and would look very different today when all these investments and cooperation did not happen. He seems very anti-Tusk and has federal oppression Soviet Union style in the mouth however Lech Walesa is part of that anti-soviet style camp. Our buddy is mixing up a few things here, because nobody from the rest of Europe is driving their tanks and forces into Poland when there are policy disagreements. Having everybody always in agreement with everything is impossible anyway. Mostly there's compromise just like at home with the wife

It's true that technocrats like Dijselbloem were very harsh in the past. He also admitted that years after. The other side is to bail out the southern countries from their debt they had to put my pension fund on the line to finance it. There's more to the story than just pointing at technocrats. They went all-in to protect which actually belongs to others back then. The guy can make a great interview about it, but they did pull that bandwagon to prevent everybody going down all together. That part of his story is totally missing. Need us when there's a need for money and ditch when the bills are due is not very fancy is it

  13. Great show Mychal, fantastic insights regarding the grain operations, and their associated politics.

Also, very insightful macro perspective of some of the EU political machinations too.

Well done. Again my thanks, and all the best to you.

  14. I would say on these topics to try not to allow negative rhethoric to dictate the issue. Typically when it comes to policies, just like EU policies or domestic ones, the devil is never as black as he seems in the beginning. You do need a balanced approach but you also don't want local governments to be pushed to the background. Everyone gets that. But that does not mean that you cannot find ways to get what you want.

People like this strange little dude on here talk a LOT, but they almost never talk to find solutions. What you want is to find solutions. Bc overall, from a cultural background and historical background Eastern Europe will always have more in common with their immediate neighbours than with places like Brussels or Paris. Just due to cultural norms, and the fact that you're all recovering after communism. The details can be sorted out. The things which are bothering you about the EU now may not even exist anymore in a couple years from now.

My point is: don't allow the loudest voices to dominate the conversation online and in the media, just because they are loud right now… I don't think the EU member nations really want to lose their VETO power either. There might be projects or ideas which they want to have domestic control over as well.

You do have to think long term when it comes to these memberships. Because governments change. Political movements change. Especially in the west. But you don't want your economic stability domestically to drastically change along with the political winds. That may not be what is best for anyone. It may not be in anyone's best interest. So, to me at least, it looks like we need a combination of rigidity and flexibility and a lot of negotiations. Not that it's a done deal and we all need to be super suspicious of others.

Most of the time, the politicians in the west are trying their best to please their public…they're not out to get you. Most of the issues are culture shock issues. Those can be resolved with respect and an eye on the prize. Bc again, political trends change. And any governing body NEEDS to be able to be responsive and adaptive to the will of their own people. *Bc otherwise you get protests and revolutions*. The mood in the west is changing… their way of trying to shove certain issues down people's throats did not work.

So, no, I don't it is in anyone's interest to lose VETO powers, over their own domestic issues. Bc that would cause a lot of instability within the EU. It is possible that they simply have not realized this, and by talking to them we can all come out with an agreement where we all get what we want out of it. Right? And that is good and better for everyone involved. In many ways most of the issues of contention within the EU are culture shock issues. The west is not used to the cultural norms of all their members. They don't really understand every other culture they're trying to communicate with…but these are issues which will inevitable shift in time, with more and more exposure and conversations. People get over culture shock by continuing to try and understand eachother… it just takes time and goodwill and mutual respect. Sometimes misunderstandings happen. But it is no in ANYONE's interest to just have someone else dictate to them, right? So that is an area of commonality. A common interest you can build on.

But if you just listen to people like this dude being all doom and gloom all the time, you can end up missing out on those opportunities. And creating unnecessary drama and hardships for ourselves.
