  1. I completely sympathies with you.. Just carrying around some "illegal" organs. I mean how illegal are they really.. Anyways I was carrying around some stuff also, and just warped out before the scan was finished and OH MY.. It seems they didn't like that. I ended up having to go back to a previous point cause I was just tired of the issue. (didn't have a bounty clearing machine in my outpost cause I needed certain parts, and every time I landed in a system they hated my guts and wouldn't let me pay off the bounty instead just insta shot at me even when I was in UC instead of FC space. What annoyed me is I had a) finally gotten a shielded cargo hold to avoid that problem in the future. b) built a settlement that had both iron and aluminum on it, but couldn't "store" that stuff cause I was missing something. Oh well, I can always rebuild another settlement again, and I did eventually get some shielded storage.

    Oh enough about me. You can only sell contraband (and stolen items) to the trade authority. They are in the major cities. The items won't even show up for sale with other venders. I would also recommend getting a shielded cargo hold. That way you have better odds of avoiding detection so they don't get so upset. I usually do a quick save before I warp, that way I can go back just incase the scan detected what it shouldn't have.

    Oh and when a vender runs out of money (they do way too fast, even the trade authority only has like 11k way too low) just sit and wait 48 hours. You can do that by sleeping/sitting in a char and "waiting" 2 full cycles of 24 hours. Really an annoying mechanism IMO. Also doing that allows them to restock their inventory too, so you can pick up more digi-picks. Not like I open locks or anything, just saying something that I seem to look out for.

  2. I think you can sell contraband in the Wolf system at The Den, east of Sol & northeast of Alpha Centauri. There's a trade authority there & they don't scan you when you enter the system

  3. Wow that escape was some Han Solo sh!t 😂. I was expecting you to say "don't worry, I know a few maneuvers" and then list slowly to the left.
    You gotta use one of your clean ships and find a buyer first. I learned as a teenager… don't keep illegal stuff in your car.

    Everyone else is playing this game wrong. 😂

  4. You clearly have massive issues with the shoot'em up parts of the game and end up in melee combat more often than not. Why not spec in melee combat? Either that or spec in demolition and use greanades and launchers – removes the need to aim😉

  6. The question marks when scanning below resources are traits, you must land and locate all of the "Unknown" (specifically natural)
    POIs, go there and scan for strange things. That'll help to uncover the unknowns. This can take some time.

    These are what you need to locate for the missions you can receive asking you to go to a star system looking for a planet with a specific type of trait.
