The world has endured its warmest three-month period ever, according to the European Union’s (EU) climate monitor. The agency is warning that this year is likely to be the hottest in human history. The EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service said that global temperatures between June to August had averaged at about 16.77 degrees Celsius, smashing the previous record set in 2019.

Can more be done? I certainly think so.
In October last year, I asked if additional sites can be activated to increase the number of HDB BTO flat launches beyond the current plan to launch up to 100,000 flats in total from 2021 to 2025, should demand exceed current projections; and
if not, what are the constraints for not being able to do so.
Apart from reiterating existing plans to launch up to 100,000 flats between 2021 to 2025, I don’t think I got a response to my question.
No one has been propagating this more assiduously than the country’s media watchdog, the People’s Action Party (PAP) government, itself a self-styled truth-teller who claims to always tell it like it is.
So what happens when the arbiter of truth is caught lying and fabricating, and the truth-teller is not saying anything about it?
The SPH Media scandal, which involves blatant fabrication of circulation numbers, tells us what some of us knew all along: we ought to be very, very wary of anyone who is fashioned as a truth-teller or arbiter of truth.
Clearly, there are lies, damned lie ms and fabrications all around us, amidst some truths and half-truths.

These are the tough times. The efforts taken by sincere people should be appreciated more on all levels, the time is crucial. Still my heart bleeds… I can only imagine how painful it is for God to watch all of the destruction and suffering engulfing the planet. All living things that he created with great love are suffering, millions struggling to survive, while still so many others are bathing in a cocktail of sweet illusions of stable progress and ignorance of the true condition we are all in… The more we, humans, progress into the future, the more I'm sure God will not endure this injusctice without end, only he can and will stop those who destroy his creation, the Earth (Revelation 11:18), and it's only God who can and will renew justice for all who call his name by restoring Paradise conditions, just the way it was in the very beginning of everything on this planet (Psalm 37:2, Matthew. 5:5).
