few days ago switched from light to medium cuz lvl 60+ mobs hit like a truck. Feels like soon i will switch to heavy 😀
even in solo pvp heavys are so hard to take out.
In my experience heavy armor just seems OP. Even with a full 350 strength setup I can't out damage heavy armors in pvp fights. Kinda weird to me.
FYI the reason you do less healing is because you took all your gear off which means lower Gear Score = lower strength plus the attributes attached to your gear also adds to the healing and strength. If you put a light gear on with the same gear score you will see the 20% buff to your healing.
I feel like they shouldn’t be needing it but buffing light and medium armor
in mass PvP its probably meta to have heavy but anything else its pretty optional. It makes little sense to play heavy axe with light armor becase its pretty inconvinient most of the time but you can definitely solo pve content even naked. Bow basically 2 shots anything,…. you dont need armor when the enemy cant hit back – frost gauntlet, fire staff,… In some situations its much better to have medium armor over heavy because the added mobility of medium makes you setup your spells without your animation getting canceled etc
Light and med armor needs to be buffed to proper specs ASAP possible even all gear other than heady with a slight resistance buff

Theres so much that its bugged in this game.. no point even thinking on whats coming up as meta tbh. Its going to be a whole new game in about 2 months..
i have alot of hours in dark souls games so I enjoy learning boss attack patterns and dodging with light armor. but for wars might consider heavy
War & group PVP for sure run heavy armor, but if you are doing open-world pvp in small group and you are running rapier/bow, the light armor with dodge roll is just too important, you need that mobility to outplay opponents. ✌✌ Nice video, I hope they fix armor and the way they work.
