Get off Colorado's nuts. They have a soft schedule. Wait till they beat Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, ect. Theyre beating up on mid tier teams at best.
First and foremost you must be able to relate to the players. Most of them are kids and they know when you are not sincere and the parents want the discipline that he commands.

Prime is a builder. He has an advantage that the other coaches do not have. He has been there and done that. He makes all his players feel like they are important to him.
In high school I played baseball. The school couldn't care less about the baseball program. But we had a great coach. Former MLB pitcher. His son played or plays in the minors. Every time he told me to change something you better believe I did. He hated the way I swung the bat and he made minor changes to shorten up my swing. He disciplined us over small and large mistakes. And it was always equal punishment. But let me tell you something. All the hard work he put us through, I wouldn't trade coaches for anyone. He mainly worked me and a my boy Jamal. He wanted us to go to the bigs. He could see it. I never tried to but Jamal went on to play college ball. I wish I could have had him as a coach for 4 year instead of the 1.
