  1. If the West had Russia's "foreign actor" laws, oligarch Elon Musk would have been sent to a Gulag or "de-windowed" from the 10th storey long ago.

    Also total shitshow from Musk and Walter Isaacson. Less than a month after publishing his Musk biography, Isaacson has had to publicly backtrack on what he wrote after Musk denied the undeniable.

    Like we're supposed to believe that Isaacson (famous author of Steve Jobs's biography) didn't email the PDF proofs of his book to Musk before sending to print.

    Conclusion: Musk and Isaacson are liars, liars pants on fire.

  13. There is legal precedent for a government to abolish a corporation “for cause”. In 1874 the “East India Company” was formally dissolved, when the Parliament of the United Kingdom passed the “East India Stock Dividend Redemption Act of 1873”. The atrocities of the “East India Company” are well documented and you can read an overview on “Wikipedia”.

    Do you remember “The Boston Tea Party”? December 16th, 1773; the same year that the “East India Company” began its rule over India when it appointed its first Governor-General, Warren Hastings and established a capital in Calcutta. Do you think… that just maybe, the colonists in America were reading the NEWS? (Or the “TEA LEAVES” as it were)

    Those ships in the Boston harbor were owned by the same “East India Company”.

    Under the “East India Stock Dividend Redemption Act of 1873”, the share holders, (WHO HELD UNEARNED INHERITED WEALTH), were compensated for their stocks and as of April 30th, 1874 all dividend income ceased.

    I am also opposed to “public utilities” under the ownership and control of “private, for profit, entities”, however, such “public utilities” could be “private, not for profit, entities” and administered for the “PUBLIC GOOD”. The “East India Company” established and maintained its own standing army of up to 240,000 men, more than twice the membership of the British Army of the time. The “Starlink” satellite system is more than a “public utility” it is a “MILITARY RESOURCE” and Elon Musk IS NOT the “ELECTED COMMANDER AND CHIEF” of our nations military, and may be considered to be “directly involved” in “counter-espionage” aka “counter-intelligence” for which he may be subject to criminal charges as a “double-agent” aka “spy”.

    The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution, allows the federal government to take private property such as the “Starlink” satellite system for public use if the government provides "just compensation", just as the “East India Stock Dividend Redemption Act of 1873”, compensated the share holders, for their stocks. There is legal precedent for the U.S. Government to take action against, Elon Musk, the least detrimental to Mr. Musk, would be to purchase the “Starlink” satellite system by the power of eminent domain. Although, criminal charges for “espionage”, should judiciously be considered. A warning to Mr. Musk may be prudent; wealthy people are NOT ABOVE THE LAW.

    The United States has military contracts with other corporations, that do not interfere with the military operations of the U.S. or its allies.

    PS If I were to manufacture electric automobiles: Like Henry Ford, I would mass produce affordable automobiles; with prices competitive with the used car industry and market the cars on used car lots, in an effort to reduce the number of gas guzzling, air polluting vehicles, on the road today. After all, the goal is to reduce carbon emissions; not to create “luxury cars” subsidized by the tax payers.

  21. AWAY WITH MUSK… I never like him that much…. To be really honest he's really insignificant to me… Money alone don't make you CLEVER or a great guy! He is no different then gates & zukenberg. I TOTALLY DISLIKE THE later 2….and now have just added musk to that list!

    If you side with Ukrainian, boycott everything he touches…. I had enough of all his BS tricks from his crypto "scams" to becoming rich with the "grant money" from the tax payers

    I really don't get it why we tolerate these nonsense in 2023. SpaceX license should be canceled and the company split up… It seem to me someone got to big for his boots and think he run's his own little "private country"

  30. Elon's real-life ambition is to be a James Bond-type supervillain. He has his tunneling company to build an underground lair, a private worldwide communications system, and his own worldwide propaganda machine. Space X makes rockets that can reach any part of the globe. Now all he needs is a handful of H-bombs and/or a giant space laser and he's all set.

  41. What people often forget’ is that the super rich are stateless. They owe no allegiance to anything other than their own interests and wealth. Borders are only something that gets in the way of more wealth and power, but wars over borders often produce further opportunities for even great prosperity.
    Thy rarely pick sides unless there is absolutely no other option, why make money from only one side when both is preferred.
    Let’s face it he is South African not American, and they are supporting Russia
